Hello,
I thought I would reach out following the "repair" installation of our stairs, being no one from Lighthouse thought to.
I'm extremely disappointed with your company. The lack of communication and scheduling is astonishing. We rearranged our schedules every time you said someone would be there. I understand things happen but no one was proactive with communication. Workers were either hours late if they showed up at all. Your disrespect for our schedule is disgusting to be frank. Your lack of knowledge with your product is ridiculous.
The fact you can out right lie to a customer, makes me wonder how you stay in business. As an example, Markita promised me profusely that only new materials would be used. However, that wasn't the case. They reused all the previous stair noses that didn't break when they fell off, only using new materials when they had to. This is not the only instance I'm pretty sure you weren't honest with me, back to the day our materials were delivered.
They didn't prep the stairs with any attention to detail, leaving all the glue residue from the previous installation. They did not have true knowledge of the installation. When the nail gun wouldn't work the solution was just rely on only the glue and put weight on each stair (with rocks from my yard) and not use them for 24hrs. Our daughter had to go around outside in winter the entire night and next day to get to her room. We could have made arrangements had we been informed this would be required. We're left with subpar at best stairs. Don't get me wrong I am in no way asking you to come back as we don't want you at our home ever again. We are completely disappointed that we wasted over $1, 000; your company should never install products on stairs.
I have reached out to the BBB and as I always do I will now be completing my review.
Desired outcome: Refund on stair installation
