Family Dollar - Very rude employees

On February 7th about 8pm I took my son and my grandaughter to Family Dollar Store#11704 51 Norwich Ave Ct. It was my 1st time going in that store so I was unfamiliar with the set up. As soon as we walked in a man stocking the shelves kept following us and making us very uncomfortable. My grandchild had $5 to spend and she kept changing her mind on what she wanted. Myself I was looking at the dog food nd treats. I don't buy them anything from China for them soo it took a little time to read the labels. My son was looking for power steering fluid for my car. While in there my brother called which was an important call about my sister who was operated on nd I was on my phone, normally I don't answer, but like I mentioned it was important. At 8:23 my son said Ma c'mon we got to go. I asked Why are they closing? The man (employee) that kept following us yelled out "No youve been in here too long" I replied "I didn't know we had a time limit to be in the store? I didn't get to finish shopping I was very upset, and uncomfortable. My 10yr old grandaughter also was upset and asked me why we got kicked out. I went straight to the register, stood behind a customer which was a Co-worker of mine and that man daid rudely go to the next register she will take care of you. I asked her what was wrong with him and she didn't say a word, just gave me a look like I was the worst person she ever met. Im 63yrs old and have never been treated so rude in a store like that. I should have gone to Dollar General like I planned, but wanted to go to Family Dollar seeing I just moved here and wanted to check this store out. I work in a large Casino and If I ever told someone they had to leave because they were in there too long I would be walked out. I will never go in that store again. I was treated like a criminal, which I don't appreciate his behavior and also the girl cashier is unacceptable. Also my young grandaughter did not have to witness such behavior toward me and what was supposed to be a fun trip to the store ended up a nightmare.

Desired outcome: Please respond. I would like an apology. Im also going to call the corporate office.

Sorry But that is not the case in this situation there were other children in the store at the same time, and a car with children just getting there. He followed me out the store lighting his ciggerette gave me a smirk like he was saying "That's right lady if I want you to leave your gonna leave". Im going to just let his manager know how he treats people he doesn't even know. It was just rude.
