this is a scam running through craigslist and has been reported in other stated across the USA, her is what it says and they use God and missionarys to make you trust when really its a lie, here is what i got,

Thanks for your response, i owned the house you are interested in, i
want to give it out for rent and looking for a responsible person that
can take very good care of the house for me.It was due to my transfer
that makes me to leave the house and also want to give it out for rent
and i am looking for a responsible person that can take very good care
of it, as we are not after the money for the rent but i want it to be
clean at the time and the person that will rent it to take it as if it
were its own.
So for now, am here in (western Africa) and with the keys/documents of
the house which is located at (Address:14 SW 34th Ave., Cape Coral, FL 33991)
You can go and view the house there but you wont be allow to
go into the house because the Keys and the Document are with me in
west Africa, i try to look for an agent that i can give this document
before i left but could not see and we are as well as don't want my
house to be used any how in our present that is why we took it along
with me here, and as you know that i am over in West Africa for a
mission of God, so i hope you will promise me to take very good care of
the my house.so let me know your experience
Hope you are okay with the price of $600&deposit of $250per month with
hydro, heat laundry facilities, air condition and so on
I look forward to hearing from you with your rent application form
fill out and discuss on how to get the keys to the house for rent,
as i said this is a scam so be carefull, this has ben sent through a [protected]@yahoo.com but has been using other names to, be carefull always reaserch and remember if it fells fishy it is and if its to good to be true it is, thanks.

I am so sorry for my late reply, I must confess this its my first time of renting my house However, I Roger Wale & owner of the house located at (228 SE 14th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33990) Due to my job as a missionary I spent less time in the States so I could not get a hold on any Realtor to handle this rent issue, although it was when I knew how long we are going to stay in Africa a that I decided to rent out the single family house. However, the initial plan was to sale out the single family house which I tried, but sometimes the agents inflates the prize and it takes longer to sell i am telling you this in case if you find the single family house on another website, that is the old advert. because of this reason and more i need a responsible person that can take very good care of it as i am not after the money, but want it to be clean and for you to take it as if it is yours.

This email wording looks almost the same as others from NIGERIA instead of West Africa. One was with the name David. This price really is unbelievable! Over a decade ago all $250 got you was a stall of a room and you'd share everything else. I haven't seen squat for that lately.
Except what I just saw on craigslist. Can you imagine $400 per month rent to own a 3bdrm house? Of course I didn't see any direct contact like a phone number or anything available. Much too good to be true!
I just got this one, and I'm not even sure why. But I guess that's why they call it "phishing".
