I was involved in a car accident in Jacksonville, Florida July of 2018. I was rear ended by another vehicle. I ask Morgan and Morgan to take on my case which now I am learning to regret. For such a simple case, in a year and a half this matter has still not been resolved and it appears that as a client I am under valued as a client, a person and a former military member. My previous Case Manager (Joi Moore) whom I thought was doing a great job, had already resolved my case and obtained a settlement amount prior to her leaving the firm for personal reasons, but once it was turned over to her coworkers at Morgan and Morgan this is when the circus began. The case manager (Travis Troutman) express to me via phone message that he and the attorney (Nicolle Von Roen) could get a larger settlement. I returned the phone call and asked that he please call me to discuss my case and its status to date. I have yet to have a phone conversation with the case manager or attorney about my case. Now that I have made it quite clear that I just want to settle my case with the insurance company, based on the incompetence and unprofessional manner in which was being handled and my own treatment by their firm. I have now being introduced to the arena of legal stall tactics on the part of Morgan and Morgan as a CLIENT by having phone numbers forwarded to someone by the name of Tracy who has never express to me what her credentials were or her involvement with my case except for being asked to explain what the process was for me to obtain my settlement and how it could take numerous years to complete. This is after 18 months have already pasted since the accident and now I am paying a 33% fee vice 25% which was agreed upon during my hiring of Morgan and Morgan. The latest that I am being told is that Morgan and Morgan is waiting on documents filed with TRICARE to be returned to them to finalize the recoupment of medical expenses for my One trip to a Medical Facility on the day of my accident. I discovered that these documents were filed in August of 2018 and no one has followed up with TRICARE in over a year or is it that no one at Morgan and Morgan cares. This is the most horrific experience that I have ever had in dealing with a legal matter and Morgan and Morgan have proven to be true Ambulance Chasers and not professionals that you can trust.
