I spent days and hours searching on the web for a dentist with great reviews. I found this office and read every review. It sounded great and I was excited to try it. Yesterday, 6/28/2011 I had the WORST experience with this office. First their office is very old and outdated, then when I was getting my Xrays, the Xray technician told me how old their machine is. She called it a dinosaur. I also mentioned to her that the pieces they wanted me to bite down on looked pretty dirty since they were just being pulled out of a drawer and not an enclosed wrapper. She told me they were sterilized. After the Xrays I had to wait a very long time to see the dentist. When she came to me she didn't even speak. She just looked in my mouth wrote a few things and walked away. I had to ask the nurse if she was even done and told my nurse the woman didn't even say a word to me. The nurse said it has been a weird morning. My hygienist, Eunice, was very nice. But she gave me the craziest news I have ever heard in my life! She said the dentist wrote down I had 14 cavities and they wanted to replace my old filling on my two previous fillings. I was completely shocked considering I take very good care of my teeth and rarely eat sweets. They wanted to start the procedure right away of course, and charge me $2, 000. I thanked her and asked to have some time to think about it and speak with another dentist. I went right away to get a second opinion with Dr. Ata's office in Hunter's Creek and walked in to a high tech very clean office with very friendly people. After my visit with them I only have TWO, not fourteen very tiny cavities that I am getting taken care of and what the other dentist saw were small stains on my teeth from drinking hot tea all the time. The stains came off in the cleaning. I called my insurance to complain about this office and then I called the office directly. I would never ever recommend this place and should have listened to my instincts and left the minute they started taking my xrays
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Horrible office- Coast Dental Poinciana, They owe me $700refund for almost 2 years now and I am still fighting for it. Theiroffices should be closed.
No one at Coast Dental, either in the PSL office or the corporate office will help you. This is a hard lesson to learn. Very frustrating for a professional provider and staff to mess up so bad...Not only on the dental work but also on the paperwork, service, HIPAA compliance, etc. If only there was something people could do. Lawyers will not even touch these cases unless you are maimed or have some type of permanent damage. I have battled this company for almost two years now. First actively and now, passively. All of the dentists in the area stick together also. They will tell you how bad each other's work is, but will not quite spell it out on paper the same way. For the first time in my life, being middle aged, I am afraid to go to a dentist for 'work'. I don't know who to trust and/or it is so costly that it is hard to take the chance. Someday, there will be a way to resolve these issues, but this is not yet the day.
Their Patient relations office does not do anything for customers besides what they are doing on here. They say I'm sorry you feel that way, we strive to provide excellent patient care and customer service each and every time.
