I brought my father to the DTC at Jackson les than 2 months ago to have MRI scan done. The Tech who scanned him was someone named N. She seemed very absent-minded, would forget (or ignore?) what my father would say, didn't seem to care at all about his privacy, reading stuff outloud from his chart while there were many other patients/staff around. She also didn't seem to understand much about what she needed to do on the computer to assure a good scan. My poor dad had to wait much longer than we were told he would and even restart thsy scanning over multiple times.
I understand that we are going through a tough unprecedented time with all this Covid stuff, but is it too much to ask to have a scanning tech who knows what they are doing and at least ACT like they care about the patients?
Anyways, my father's scans were useless (to quote his doctor) and we have to scan again!
Jackson Hospital - please train your staff. We the patients don't have a ton of time and money to deal with techs who mess things up and then have to waste another day to have those scans done again
Anonymous - I was not the patient so I won't add my name, and my dad is more concerned about his health to worry about bad techs. We will specifically ask for another tech on our next visit. But I hope this helps future patients.
