Hello,
I would to first say that I am excited about all the new racetrac in the south miami area! I have always called racetrac the Disney world of convenient stores. This store was amazing when it first opened up the managers and staff were amazing but in the last six months to nine months I have noticed a decline in service and in products. The hot dogs are not being replenish until it's too late there is no buns in any of the drawers, pastries such as doughnuts and cookies are not being replenished. The coffee creamers were all emptied and I requested for the almond milk one and the young lady gave me an attitude. It was 9 am there is no reason for that area not to be kept up with the needed items. The swirl world is sad! There is always something missing. This past Saturday I took my kids for the 2.49 ice cream. I looked for the 2.49 cups and there was none. I asked Ricky from the store for cups and he said there was none. I asked him if I use the bigger cups will you charge me 2.49 he said yes. The only ice cream working was mint machine and chocolate and vanilla machine. All the other machines were not working. The ice cream was water and not very appetizing. The toppings were very limited. The only items available were m&ms mini, Reese's chips and cookies, sprinkles and that was it! From the machines you can see the room filled with all the toppings and they had them ready to stock. When I went to pay the new employee charged me 3.99 for the cups and I told her Ricky told me it would be 2.49. She had a nasty attitude saying he should not have told me that! I looked at her like she is crazy and told her to please charge me for 2.49 for three ice creams. The other employee was a nice young man with an unusual name he apologized for her attitude and told me that he would speak to the manager because she should have not be rude toward me. I also did not get my receipt! Usually I am asked if I would like my receipt I say yes but that day she looked at me and called next. The positive is that store is always clean! The restrooms are a hit or miss they are sometimes super clean and other times super disgusting! I am a super loyal customer because I know this place can be one of best for customer service, products and cleanliness but these last few visits make it hard for actually want to drive out of my way for racetrac. I have 8 gasoline stations less than 2 miles away from my house. With gas cheaper sometimes I go there for not just gas it go there the experience of getting fresh brewed coffee of cold drink or something yummy but if it continues to decline like that my visits will be far in between.
