Yesterday I went into the Racetrack on Fowler Ave Tampa in the University Mall area, at 330Pm and gave the cashier $25 cash for pump #13. Before I noticed the other cashier talking to a customer who wanted two large cokes, the cashier said that she knew her and talked a bit and when the customer wanted to pay for the drinks the cashier said that was okay and the customer left without paying. I paid my $25 and went to the pump to pump my gas but when I got there it said that $25 was already pumped and I could not get any gas, so I had to go back into the store and wait in a long line to ask if they could reset the pump or something. The cashier said I already got my gas on a credit card and if I wanted more gas I would have to pay and additional $25. I argued that I did not get any gas or use a credit card. The clerk showed me her computer screen where it showed that $25 was credited and pumped. I argued that my tank was empty and I didn't get any gas and asked the other clerk who said that she remembered me giving her the $25 in cash while the other clerk argued that I used a credit card. By this time there was a long line of people looking at me as if I was trying to get something for nothing. I asked for the manager who showed me the computer screen and the credit for $25. I told her to come and look at my car and I will show her that my tank is near empty and that I paid $25 and got no gas. She spoke to the other clerks and eventually I got my gas after about 30 minutes of arguing and humiliation. I feel they were probably bilking the till with false credit but one thing is for sure I will never go there again or to any Racetrack. Clinton

Last night my boyfriend stop by this particular race track gas station in 2120 E Fowler ave Tampa FL, to get a drink and a pastry and the night shift person in duty Ms, or Mrs Vernette approached him and Told him that he cannot go to the store or be around the premises, he was in shock he felt treat and very racial approach because he goes often as customer to that particular store and she call the police at him. I believe he was being comfuse by someone else, police actually tell him that he cant go there without explaining any reason. Very disappointed. Regardless what was the issue you always have to look another way to approach people specially if they are consuming your product, as we can see for the amount of complaints theres an issue with employees, and the way they talk to employees or costumers. If you are not happy with your job please search for another one that makes you happy. Treat others the way you would like to be treated with respect.
