I went to a Tiffany store on 12-2-2023 in Tampa Florida at the International Plaza. I left my diamond earrings to be cleaned while I shopped in the mall.
When I picked up my earrings one of the earring backs was broken and would not stay on the earring. When I dropped off the earrings the lady examined my earrings and could see that both studs were in great working condition. I asked for a replacement since it was not broken when I dropped off my earrings. I was told that I would have to purchase one for $120.00 plus tax.
($129.00). I have bought many pieces of jewelry over the years and have spent thousands of dollars at Tiffany. I am extremely upset with Tiffany for treating me this way. At this point I will never purchase another Tiffany product again. I can't believe that Tiffany would treat a long time customer this way. I purchased the earring back because I felt as if I had no other choice, because I cannot wear the earring without a back on it.
Claimed loss: $129.00
Desired outcome: A refund of $129.00 and a true and genuine apology.

I have visited and made purchases from Tiffany's in New York and LA. I have always had excellent service. Until I visited the Tiffany's in Tampa.
I wasn't greeted when I came in.
I wasn't offered help.
I actually asked for help from a lady who actually asked what did I need š in a not so nice way.
Then she said all sales persons were busy and she would let them know I needed to look at a piece of jewelry. So I was like u know I been all over this store and not once single person had acknowledged me so I'm just going to leave. Well the lady who was gonna find me some help, was just standing at the door doing absolutely nothing when I left. She didn't asked me if anyone helped me nor did she even acknowledged I left. I wasn't thanked for coming in. Nothing! She actually looked me in the face and watched me walk out. First Tiffany's I've ever been in where I actually left without a purchase. I was very disappointed and I will never visit this location again. Maybe I appeared to not be a buyer. But I assure you I could buy a nice piece of jewelry if I do desired. Even my daughter was disappointed as she has never seen Tiffany service such as that.
