Took my 90 year old mom out lunch on friday to red lobster. We use to love this place, not anymore. I am a veteran. The waitress was a sweetie and tried to help but Mr. Chadwick was in his own mind and was very rude and disrespectful. We both have chewing problems for we are both seniors. We always opt for small side salad instead of coleslaw for it is too hard for both of us to chew. We have been doing this for over 10 years without a problem, Today Mr. Chadwick demanded we pay an extra 1.99 for salad. Why? We paid good money for our dinner and now I had no side? So I got fish & chips for 14.99 with no side. Unbelieveable While talking to Mr. Chadwick, he said he did not care if we came back and he was not sorry for being rude! I feel Mr. Chadwick needs some more training on how to be a good manager and have respect for all, no matter the age. He smirked at us and laughed... He was just trying to be mean. No reason for this. Please train your managers to be respectful to the elderly. You are losing customers! I did tell him we wouldnt be back and his response was I dont care, LIke Really? Is this the right approach to treat his paying customers? Bad managers make for bad attitudes for the employees. I felt at this point he should have least taken a bit off the bill with having no side? What is going on with this place. I just wanted to let you know that Mr. Chadwick ruined our day and he knew it an was proud of it... Thank You.
Desired outcome: Retrain/fire this manager, He is obviously in the wrong field...He doesn't kindness and I do believe kindness goes long way...Or/ send me gift card and I will go to another red lobster, not going back there as long as he is manager.
