On 9/19/2024 at 15:36 I went into the Red Lobster on 32 Blanding Blvd Orange Park Fl 32073. I went in to order a dozen of biscuits (which I love). My server was Ms. Abigail C. I gave her my gift card from my birthday. Once she completed the transaction, I stood there with my hand out. She preceded to cash me out and as she was returning with the gift card. I stood there with my hand out and she placed it on the counter. I asked her if she would please return my payment as I had given it to her. She preceded to get loud "Yes" with customers in the area "Oh my goodness I've never heard of this before and walked off" yes, she did say I didn't see your hand out but the way she responded to me. The customers looking and how she walked off was terrible as for someone who's tending to the public. She was very rude and not happy at all. I just want to address her behavior.
Desired outcome: Just have a talk with your workers and let them know that they decided to work at your establishment. So, learn proper etiquette when working with the public

That’s a disappointing experience, especially when you're just trying to enjoy something as simple as ordering some biscuits. Abigail's reaction sounds completely unprofessional, especially in front of other customers. Instead of handling the situation calmly, her response only escalated things unnecessarily. It’s understandable that you’d want to address her rude behavior—good customer service is about more than just completing a transaction, it’s about respect. Hopefully, Red Lobster takes your feedback seriously and ensures that their staff handles interactions better moving forward.
