the service is terrible!!!
I walked into Red Lobster on Hoover Road in Warren Michigan I stood at the host desk for 11 minutes before I chose to go and find the host the host finally approaches does not apologize for having us just standing there waiting. Then the host attempts to seat other people besides me who came to find her and was in front of those other people. Then I tell her that I was ready to be seated she seared me and no said nothing. I walked in at 5:30 I sat down at 5:42 p.m. I waited on my way to order for 15 minutes. My waiter Damon finally come and take my order and I asked for water with lemon I never got the lemon reminded him 3 times never got the lemon I ordered wine and I ordered the endless shrimp and shrimp pasta it was just me. 40 minutes went by before I decided to walk out after seeing my waiter bring food to people who had been seated down in three different groups at different tables they sat down after me. I asked to speak to the Manager as I walked out he said his name was Paul amd i asked my waiter name and he said Damon. I explained to him that I had an issue with having people being served before me when I was there first all along it's about 615 620 and I still have not received any food. All Paul said was if you stay I will comp your food 50% off I explain to Paul the manager that I was not interested in staying that I wanted to leave and I was upset I also informed him that I am one of the people that come out and do reviews on restaurants and other places of the sort without them knowing it. This Red Lobster really needs to be revamped this is the second bad experience I've had at this Red Lobster with different managers or supervisor and different Waiters.
our experience at dinner
Our party of 8 ate dinner at red lobster Friday Nov 9 2018. Our experience was less than pleasing. Our server forgot our appetizers. Due to that our dinners weren't hot. Talked to the manager on duty, nothing was done about it. It was the worst $137 I have ever spent. Don't know if we will continue to dine there, because the 2 times before weren't the best either. Don't know what is going on but definitely not up to par.
food
My family ate at Red Lobster Sunday evening @ 5:30 on November 5th.
We had the Ultimate feast, endless shrimp, and oysters on the half shell and ice tea. We were very disappointed because we had to send the shrimp back, it was way over fried and hard so, he got the scampi and it was almost raw . The lobster was no taste to it and crab legs were cold and watery! Raw scampi also! The ice tea tasted like chemicals due to the water problem in Bossier City. The oysters were good but all of us later got sick with diarrhea and stomach ache. I have never had any problems with there food before and the waitress just acted indifferent about it all. I am not one to complain but, this was totally inexcusable.
manager using bad language and employees stealing food off people's plates in the serving window.
I went to eat at our local Red Lobster and where I was sitting at had a view of the serving window. I seen a Hispanic guy sneaking food off of customers plates and looking around to see if anyone is watching and then eating it. My food comes out and I'm watching it come to me. I say something to my waitress about what I seen. I don't know if she reported it or not. I left my table to go to the restroom and I overhear a manager or some kind of boss she screaming and cussing at the employees. They are very unprofessional here and I was very disappointed.
everything
I want to start off by saying that our experience tonight was one of the worst overall experiences we have ever had at a restaurant period.
We tried to visit our local red lobster in Little Rock, A.R. last Sunday October 21st 2018 on West Markham Street around 6:15pm, upon our visit (which we only visited because we were given a gift card) we were told there were no fresh lobsters available, so we decided to go elsewhere as I wanted to enjoy a fresh, steamed lobster. I understand on a Sunday after the weekend rush that there is a chance no fresh lobsters would be available.
Tonight, Saturday October 27th at 5:15, we wanted to again try to use our gift card for dinner and have a fresh lobster dinner. Upon entering the facility I immediately noticed there were no fresh lobsters. I asked the hostess and she confirmed there were no fresh lobsters. This time we choose to still order food and use our gift card for dinner to-go.
We ordered the lobster tail dinner and the Cajun chicken Alfredo. We went to the bar to order a drink while we Waited for our food. I ordered a bourbon and coke and immediately noticed my drink tasted off. Apperantly salt had spilled in the ice well and other guests at the bar confirmed the drinks that they had received recently had the same problem. I ordered another drink and this time it was fine. We received our food at the bar and left.
When we returned home, I opened my lobster tail dinner to completely disgust. To say that you as a company charge someone $30 for fresh, rock lobster tails is a completely and utter lie. The product I received could be called nothing short but a lie from what was advertise by your menu and your overall marketing as a whole. The Cajun chicken Alfredo also could be confused with a cheap TV dinner .
Where is this restaurant chain going? What is your long term strategy? At this point, you are only trying to trick honest people out of their money for frozen seafood that is over seasoned and prepared by employees that have no training in how to prepare the items on your menu. I can easily tell that the lobster tails that I received were dehydrated and had been frozen for some time.
I would appreciate any type of call or post feedback by your customer service staff. Though after this experience there is a 99.9% chance I will never return to a Red Lobster ever again. Your chain has become Applebee's, you have completely lost your identity and will sometime soon have a severe food poisoning incident that will completely ruin the last bit of reputation left from this logo and chain known as Red Lobster.

food and manager
We visit Red Lobster all the time .. three weeks ago I had a very bad experience food took an hour plus it was cold.. manager at the time at the Lewisville location told me he would send out a gift card as an apology.. yesterday I noticed the card never came I called the restaurant and spoke to a very very unprofessional manager I believe his name is Christian not only was he terribly rude to me but told me on the phone I can be lying to get free stuff wow red lobster hiring such managers .. I work in the Customer service field and would never talk to my loyal customers in a rude and condescending manner like this. We come in all the time but after seeing the type of managers you have hired I will take my business to someone whose not going to call me a liar and dishonest that is very insulting I hope you will replace this manager ASAP and please send me the gift card 25.00 as promised. Very unhappy customer.
service
We came to red lobster around 9pm oct 24th for my bday. When we arrived an African American lady was at the check in desk. She asked for number in our party and told us have a seat. We sat and waited and it wasn't even busy it was my 40th bday. When i walked up to ask her what are we waiting for she said have a seat like i was a kid. I gathered my family walked to the desk and said we see we are not wanted here and the manager stood next to her didnt say a word. We have ben coming to this location for 20 years and because of this rude lady u have at the front desk has ruined us we will never eat here again! You all ruiend my 40th bday thanks alot
the general manager. amanda
The G.M. Shows favoritism to certain employees and discriminates. My pregnant girlfriend has been working there for about 2 months now. They hired her as a Bartender/Waitress, she has asked numerous to work her full shift as a Bartender, yet she only comes to open the bar than is forced to hostess. The General manager would roll her eyes at her, abuse her authority and power. My girlfriend is afraid to lose her job, because of discrimination. We asked that she may be dealt with accordingly.
It's not discrimination or favoritism, it's seniority. You have to wait your turn before getting the better work assignments/shifts.
service, food
My family was there October 13 around 6:00pm, we ordered 2 admirals feasts and 2warm Apple crostatas, Servive was horrible, our server was a blonde older woman, she was nice but lacking punctuality, I don't know if it was her or the kitchen, please let's fix this I did not receive a receipt also.we eat there often...ie.birthdays and anniversaries I hope we can make this right, please get back to me, a Thank You, Kourtney D at [protected]@bak.rr.com
staff/service
Went to a location in North Haven, CT with the family yesterday. One other couple waiting, they got seated quickly. We waited another 5 minutes, give or take. We got seated in the middle of the restaurant and waited and waited some more. A few minutes go by, no one approaches us. Waiters are walking by, talking to tables, looking at us. Still no one comes to our table. My husband worked for Red Lobster for 10 years, so we have been to a few different locations over the years and this one is by far the worst one. Another table got sat after us and was taken care of before us. A lady was being sat at a table directly in back of me and once she saw our table (with our kids) she asked to sit somewhere else. Maybe she didn't like children? We sat and waited for over 15 minutes when we decided to leave. Once we got up and started walking out a server approached us and asked if anyone came to our table. I told her no, and for that reason we are leaving. She said oh, I didn't know no one came over to you. That particular server walked by us multiple times, would catch eye contact but never once asked if we needed anything. Did you see any drink coasters on the table? No, because there were none. Any beverages that might need refilling? No, because we didn't have any. Did you see a couple of closed menus, folded hands, and looks of growing agitation. Most Definitely. Instead of assuming why didn't you ask before we decided to leave? Would not recommend if you are looking for a smooth dining experience. The one star can go towards the cleanliness of the bathroom. Definitely didn't feel like a family friendly or professional environment. Janis, you need to have your restaurant doing better.
product
We love red lobster and have gone there many many times. We went last evening for the endless shrimp which we love. We went to the saginaw mi location. The service was good. The food however was really bad. The shrimp was cold my wife had sesame ginger grilled shrimp the shrimp was put on the skewer not even grilled extremely disappointed. We like red lobster the meal was horrible and cold. We paid a lot of money for this and it was not worth it

placed take out order #[protected] on 12 oct 2018 as had received gift card from my daughter for my birthday which was 13 oct 2018. used online ordering and ordered. said would be ready at 2:15pm so drove to town 12 miles away arrived approximately 2:30pm to pick up and pulled into pick up spot. no one comes with food so enter restaurant as does a woman behind me. see one waitress waiting on several tables. she tries to help and goes back to kitchen to tell them after looking at my order number. several minutes pass. waitress comes back and asked if they brought my order. told her nope. she seats other woman and again goes to back to advise still waiting for order. several more minutes pass. finally someone comes out asked order number again and went back to kitchen. more minutes tick by and she comes out with bag and says that will be $101 something dollars. advise my order is for $33 something. she goes back to kitchen again. I am not happy. more minutes go by. brings out my order looking like it was thrown in the bag. whatever- I am ready to leave this place. she says that is $28 something. told her my order said $33 something when placed order. and you know ... are they sure it's my order. she says again $28 something. OK then try to give her $30.00 gift card from daughter. she says I need to pay cash. told her was using gift card. then she says machine not working to verify card. asked if they could not call to verify amount. told no but said I could speak to manager. reintegrated I was not paying cash for order and they needed to accept card or keep the order. she went to back again. returned after several more minutes and stated manager would accept gift card only because it had not been removed from its "packaging" (so guess was good my daughter had written on it from mita to mom $30.00.) oh and they can not give me any change back. told them to give the change to the waitress who tried to help and left. by now it was pretty close to 2pm. got the order home and unpacked food. there was one tiny container of lettuce with about 3 slivers of cheese on it and that was my ceasar salad and there was only 1 of them and not the two ordered. there was no ceasar dressing as for some unknown reason was given 2 dressing size containers containing coleslaw which was never ordered. my flounder had 3 or 4 fish fingers and a baked potato that looked and tasted like it was leftover from the previous day with wrinkled hard skin. the catfish consisted of 1 small piece of fish with plenty of fries. there was a container a ketchup but no tarter or cocktail sauce sent along. received four very small sea scallops along with a bunch of wild rice. never ordered any wild rice or rice of any kind. this is the very worst experience that I have ever had at any red lobster restaurant that I have ever been to. if we ever go to a red lobster again it will not be the one in lake city.
product/service
We went to the Red Losbster on Coors in Albuquerque and it was not only horrible service but the crab had slimy gray substance approximately 3 inches long on one crab leg and at least 2 inches long on the other crab legs hanging off of four pieces. We go to Red Lobster at least two times a month and never ever had such bad service and bad food. We waited to sit down at 2:15 for almost thirty minutes . This was not lunch hour or dinner time. Several tables open. When we sat down we ordered our food which was three snow crab dinner meals, with a side of crab and our sides. After asking waiter four times for our one salad which we never did receive we gave up. Then when the crab came there was something slimy hanging from four of the crab legs. It was almost like something from the bottom of a pan that was sitting there for awhile and attached itself to the crab. Seriously, it was disgusting! We didn't even finish it because it grossed us all out . We just lost our appetite and asked for the check. We did ask for one drink refill before we left and the waiter brought us a drink refill with absolutely no ice. Our meal wasn't cheap with the bill coming out to $93.51. I'm just sad because today was a special day for my daughter and granddaughters and it turned out to be a horrible meal. I do t know what has happened to this Red Lobster because honestly I dont think I will ever go back . I never complain because that is not the kind of person I am but I just hope we don't get sick from whatever was on our crab or I am going to be furious! So I felt like you guys needed to know what kind of service we received what kind of food
management
Our manager Christina is by far the rudest, most ignorant person I have ever worked for. She argues and reprimands people in front of other employees, she only gives negative feedback, and she makes a hostile work environment for all her employees. Today, I witnessed her yelling at an employee for asking to work with her schedule. She did not bring her in the office but continued to rant in front of other servers and kitchen staff about other employees and how she doesn't care about the people who work there. First of all...you don't care...yes we all know she doesn't care because during difficult times, she has been so unempathetic that I question if she has a heart at all. The same person she had a loud discussion about her schedule also had a death in the family recently and instead of showing any empathy, she reprimanded her about sending an email and calling to let the management know she wouldn't be coming into work. She told her it was inappropriate...all while the employee was in tears. She doesn't care...one of her other employees had a panic attacks at work. Instead of making sure she was okay, she told her to get herself together because she (Christina) has a business to run. A server assistant who had autism was fired because she never stands up for her employees. What kind of company hires someone to be a general manager who doesn't care about her employees? I am on the verge of walking out because I cannot continue to take the abuse from the GM anymore but I also fear for my coworkers. Let me make something clear...we run that restaurant. If it weren't for her staff, she wouldn't get paid because we keep the business going. If everyone walked out and didn't care about red lobster, just as she doesn't care about us, then what job would she have to go to in the morning? Humiliation, belittling, not caring, are just a few of the things we as staff have to put up with daily. I love what I do but I don't appreciate being abused.
The reason I know about Christina reprimanding the employee when she had a death in her family is because she (Christina)was loud and had the office door open for everyone to hear. This is so unprofessional and inappropriate. She should definitely not be in charge of any group of people in any business. It's sickening how terrible she treats us.

To whom it may concern:
On Friday September 28th 2018 while at work I was asked by the manager at the time Neil who was accompanied by assistant manager Karina if I had to cash out any tables I replied no and then you asked me to follow him to the back we stopped at the area by the sinks not the office as is normal where he proceeded to ask me if the bag on the counter with mine I replied yes he says what's in the bag I replied cocoa bites from endless refill in a garlic grilled shrimp skewer he said what else I said a Cajun Chicken Pasta from earlier today that the little girl didn't want because it was made too spicy.
And did you ask if you can ring in a refill or use your employee meal I Shrugged and said confused Neil everyone does this. Even the managers have asked us employees does anyone have an endless to ring in a refill. Neil goes on to say I don't care what everyone else is doing I'm talking about you. I apologized the whole time Karina was looking on in disbelief by this time he was yelling and raising his voice and walked away from me while still talking voice raised that's it you're going home we're transferring your tables and you're off the clock until Monday when you speak to John I said to him Neil please it's my daughter's birthday on Sunday I need this money he said you're going home you'll need to come back on Monday to see John at 2 by this time Karina has now walked off to go transfer my tables which three of them were cashing out I told him again I need that money please no I'm sorry I'll pay for the food he started yelling at me that I should know better and that I need to leave and then he threatened to call the cops on me and have me escorted out I said over refills are you serious? He kept walking away so I went to get the bag from the sink I said okay if you're sending me home for taking food then I should get to take the food he snatched the back from my hands and said that he would fire me right now etc etc etc.
Having been a victim of domestic violence has actions made me shut down. I went outside with Chrissy to wait to get cashed out I was so embarrassed and humiliated for him to yell at me in front of everyone and I do mean everyone the line every employee and the dining room guest heard him yelling at me and heard him THREATEN TO CALL THE COPS AND HAVE ME ESCORTED OUT. Chrissy consoled me while I was outside she said let me go and see if I can get you back on the floor it didn't work but after pulling myself together after being bashed in front of everyone I came back inside and said, you can I please cash out and then you don't need to call the cops I'll leave he said I wasn't going to call the cops it was just a ploy I said I don't play games when it comes to the cop that's not funny to THREATEN something like that he APOLOGIZED because he said it was a lot of things going on that day and because we were EMOTIONALLY CONNECTED( and by that he meant we talked about my mom and his daughter and my daughter that it was just) and that I was just the last straw and that because Red Lobster was cracking down and if it had been someone he wasn't emotionally connected to they would have been fired on the spot we hugged it out I said I'll talk to John
I have yet to been back to work and I it's been a week now. As opposed to the original 2 days and u can see in the statement
the food
Me and my family visited your Dublin red lobster the customer service was great but the food was horrible they keep bringing out cold biscuits and old salad and my shrimp and fish was under cooked. I've never had this problem before at this location normally it's very satisfying always good foo and great customer service! But I was very disappointed this time thanks
service and food
Red lobster in Lewisville Tx at 5:30. Went to Red Lobster with a family of 10, for a family's birthday. We had made a call ahead reservation, maybe 6 hours prior. Got there at 5:30 as scheduled and seated at 5:45. Which was fine. Waited for drinks 15 mins, ordered biscuits which never came until we were almost finished our meals. Oh our meals all came out at different times. We got the first 3 meals and waited and received the other four meals 20 minutes later. The last 3 meals came 10 mins later. Our food was cold, two people ordered the all you can eat shrimp special. That wasn't even served on time. We waited for the shrimps to come every 10 minutes and they didn't even bring the right one. Had a waitress that had no clue on her job. They
Manager did not offer for another waitress to our waitress. Didn't offer refills accordingly. Had a very bad experience. Our bill was $216.00.
service and food
I went to red lobster and spent $83. The service was horrible the waitress barely came back to the table we had to keep getting up trying to find her our food took forever it was cold it was burnt the we got the all you can eat shrimp and we got the Sesame Ginger shrimp on the sticks and most of the time we couldn't even pull them off or they were hard and dry and overcooked. I visit Red Lobster very often in this is the worst service and the worst over cooked food that I've ever had from this place. It definitely was not worth my 83 dollars.
management
I want to keep this completely anonymous please, I do not want anyone to know this was me. A manager at my store, Stacie, has some type of disorder and she is not treating most right. She makes me want to quit but I love my job! She can be the SWEETEST, but tonight 9/22/2018, she screamed in an employees face, embarrassed another employee in front of everyone by yelling at her, and embarrassed another one too by yelling at her. I've heard MANY more complaints about her but I witnessed this. It's hard because she can be very nice, but this is not by any means okay? Managers should not be allowed to scream in a employees face all because she is "bipolar", and or embarrass employees in front of other employees and make them feel weak. Hope something is done. Tired of my employees being treated like this. Just because she is a manager does not mean she can treat people this way.
