I assume he was management from his differently colored dark blue shirt. I came to prepay gas as i regularly do and could overhear degradation in the tone of this man as he spoke to his employees and it made me realize why I rarely see the same employees for more than a month or two. Good service comes from happy workers. So I can't imagine how these workers still manage to give me a smile every time I come with someone like that coming down on them.
RaceTrac - manager using profanity/mistreating employees
As a frequent customer of this specific racetrac I have gotten to know most of the staff and can tell when things are unusual. When I came into the store at first I was greeted by a very nice African American women who I very rarely see at the storefront. She seemed to be wearing a back brace of sorts and was struggling to get around. Shortly after getting to the register I saw her tearful and could only wonder why. Then I noticed her manager Jake was noticeably angry with her and the other employee working. I can only imagine that it was due to something outside the norm as from my experience the store was fairly clean and all employees were friendly. I can only imagine what he said to her to make her cry, but he clearly needed to be educated on how to talk to employees and around customers. His language was profane and he made no effort to sugar coat his lack of filter. On another instance I even heard him tell another customer "your not special" in a manor as though he could care less about the stores business. Whatever the case may be I believe someone should look into the stores management as only a few of the same employees still work there from my original visit to the store less than a month ago and with a manager like him I can see why.
