Bealls

I've walked into this store about 4 times in the past five years. I've literally never seen anything I really liked. I think I bought a Vera Bradly wallet once & I still didn't even love that product. Anyways, Bealls Austell, GA is always my last resort when I'm shopping because I was bored at home or avoiding homework, or looking at every near store possible for something specific. First of all, it's all old ladies clothes, cheap & ugly. Home goods are scarce, everything is scarce. Ok so to the point: On every single occasion I've went against my gut and stepped inside this "place of business" they have treated me like I was a thief. There's never anyone in there shopping. When I walked in each time (One time with my friend, one time with husband, like twice by myself), they play the security message on the intercom. This past weekend, I walked in to see if there was anything I'd like to buy for my home office because I'm starting to work from home. As soon as I walked in, they turned up the volume FULL BLAST and played the "security is watching you" message. First of all, I don't even like anything in the store! They are outdated and sad. The employees could at least talk to me & ask me for help instead of alienating me with a blast on the intercom. I don't know if they do this to anyone else regularly, but I've checked the Google reviews, and haven't seen much talk about this happening to many other people. I'll admit, every time I went shopping there, I never had makeup on, and was probably wearing sweats. So they must think I'm a thief because I look rough..Im not getting dressed up to go to Bealls in austell, GA when I live right down the road. The fact that they're discriminating me is illegal anyway. I know one thing is for sure, I will never ever step foot in this judgmental, alienating place. It's so bizarre, especially since their products literally have no appeal for me. At all. It sure seems like this location could definitely use some extra sales, and a lesson in marketing & merchandising, oh and not discriminating innocent shoppers!
