I bought a NEW Casteel air conditioner. Last Summer my bills jumped to over $1000 a month, yes, you read that right, and I had tech after tech after tech come out. Finally, after paying that much over my last years bills, which were "high" at $400 a month, which is why I agreed to put in a new system. Finally they fixed something, I still don't know what they fixed. Well, my April bill was $300 and just got my May bill, OVER 600 DOLLARS. I also put in a dehumidifier because I was having to run 3 portable units. I was assured it would fall to 50%. They put it in the basement. No result, so, like a fool, I had them put another one in up stairs. My humidity has run no lower than 60% since Spring started. So, I'm having to still run 3 portable dehumidifiers.
The CS Rep said she could refund I think $500 but I was so tired of Casteel that I just dropped it and ate the extra money last summer just so I would never have to deal with them again. Big mistake, again, on my part
DON"T WALK, RUN FROM CASTEEL
Desired outcome: Money back and someone please just fix the problem.
