4/19/23 once again shopping before work. Sale prices not changed and nobody to check you out. I clipped my coupons in app and yet again not one sale price was included. The self checkout person was there to help me but other people also having issues. This happens every single time, also happens with employees checking you out. If you don’t watch like a hawk you will be over charged on almost everything. I had to leave without my groceries or I would be late for work. I’m done as a customer.
Desired outcome: Fix your issues. Hire people and stop with stupid digital coupons that don’t work.
Jewel-Osco - grocery order dissatisfaction
I placed an order for groceries from Jewel through Instacart over a week ago. It was delivered on Easter. There were so many errors, I can't even begin to list them all. I specifically asked for Gluten Free Bisquick, got regular. Can't eat that. I was charged for fresh asparagus, didn't get it. I asked for salmon from the meat counter, got pre-packaged Cajun seasoned. Can't eat that either. Ordered 2 Italian sausage, only got one. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get that I'm upset. I understand supply might be limited, however, I had my phone on the app for 4 hours (delivery was 2 hours late) and received not one replacement approval notice. I had entered specific notes as well, especially when it came to the gluten free necessity. I feel my shopper totally ignored my requests. I have a relative who has offered to shop for me, so I'm going with that since this is the third time I've used Instacart and have not been satisfied with the shopper. I tipped well too. Wish I had that money back.
Jewel-Osco - salad bar / hot bar
the food items are very rarely completely labelled. I have brought that into notice of the manager twice and asked them to label it with the ingredients.but I do not think one one even cares about anyone dietary restrictions and they just dump the food in the hot food bar area. Today 11/05/2019 broccoli salad was mentioned, but no ingredients. I am a vegetarian and i have dietary restrictions. it was kept along with vegetarian macroni and lemon pasta kind of thing.
I took that thinking its vegetarian and it had pieces of meet in it.
Jewel osco is actually trying to play with people's religion and culture. clearly seems that the staff does not care and all my previous complaints were just ignored.
there also had been instance where I went to booth where other food items are there and asked them, and they said that we dont know anything about that area, we are not incharge, not even calling the appropriate personnel who can answer my question.
I plead for appropriate resolution and compensation from the company because my religion pledges have been breached by their carelessness and ignorance
