Outback Steakhouse - Service from staff, food quality

On this particular evening we dined in, with 2 others. The waitress took the drink order, stated that she would bring over bread and butter. Came back and took our appetizer order when bringing over the drinks and also at this time we were informed that there was no tea, they were brewing some.

No drinks were brought to the table till after the blooming onion arrived at the table. We asked about the drinks and then they were served.

The waitress took our orders. The waitress disappeared and we needed her to get more drinks and to find out where the order was, it was taking way to long. Another waitress was asked to get our waitress, please and she rolled her eyes at me. Then she spoke to the manager and the manager finally came to the table. I asked for the drink that one of the guests ordered and the bread for the table. The manager asked how many loaves we would like, sarcastically. I responded with one, please. When the manager left the table she went and spoke to the waitress, instead of taking care of us.

I had the steak salad, and it was disappointing. Chunks of steak were under the salad, a piece of steak was laying on the top, not sliced. One quest asked for a refill, and it showed up when we were ready to leave. My husband ordered a steak, and it was not good quality, lots of fat!

This was a second go around with this location. We had bad service in the past, but in the future, there will be no visit. When speaking to others, they complain as well.

The manager's excuse was "new and short staffed". Hope you can fix this location. If they are unable to serve and to produce good quality food, then they need to close.

Desired outcome: Fix the service. Hire more staff. Make sure that the food is of good quality, if not change the menu. Fire those that need to be fired. If there is no staff, close the restaurant.
