I overnighted a package to a guest of Red Roof Inn on 4/14/23 for delivery on 4/15/23. On 4/15/23 I checked the USPS tracking and the package was delivered at 4:34pm. I called the front desk of the Red Roof Inn and spoke to employee, Leisha on 4/15/23 after 6pm because the guest had not received the package. Leisha told me that there was not a package. She did not take the initiate to go look at the mailbox, she just kept insisting there was not a package. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me there was not a manager there. I asked to speak to any other employee and she said she was the only employee there. Then she told me, "If the package is not here today, it will be here Monday," then she hung up on me. I immediately called right back and surprise, Jason, the manager, answered the phone. Jason was very helpful and located the package in the mailbox. Therefore, I am filing a complaint against Leisha for poor customer service, lying and hanging up on our call before we were finished. Best, Amy Lewis [protected]
Desired outcome: I want aa telephone call from Leisha with a sincere apology for her behavior.
