January 24,2017 I entered $1000 atm withdrawl. It wouldn't accept due to my limit being $500 daily so I change the amount to $500. When I received my statement it read ATM Withdrawal $500 twice on January 24, 2017. I made a claim for a $500 credit all I got was a atm requisition withdrawl of $500 on January 24,2017. I continued my request about the second transaction and but received no answer's. I was told to contact a different dept and they would open back up the claim and take care of it. What I got was a closed bank account October 11,2017 with a negative balance of $64.71. I continued to deal with this over the years by actually appearing in person at the main bank in Missouri on Main St the receptionist took my information and sent it to Heather Garner and said she would contact me but never did.. I finally filed a claim with the BBB I recieved a letter about my claim that was misconstrued in Sept. 2022 from Heather Garner I then faxed my paperwork 3 times to Heather called with false phone number she typed on the letter that wouldn't go through. I also talked to many other employee's that said they would send her an email and she would get back to me but never did I hear anything from her.. I did end up getting her direct number but she never did take my call until about 10 messages later. She finally called me back and said she would send the proof but never followed up on my request. She also said that what-ever the proof is that I wouldn't be getting a refund anyway because it has been 6 years.. I said that I should have gotten it in January or October when I filed the claim.. she was speechless.. I had talked to someone in the dispute department and she called Heather and Heather said she had the same paperwork that I had.. I also chatted with 4 different employee's. Leslie on 10/06/23 said she would need to submit a request, Janael 10/05/23 sent weeks I never ask for, Taytiane 10/06/23 couldn't send it Kathy on 10/10/23 said she would mail it but never did. Then I talked to Tom in the charge off dept and he sent a statement that haid both ATM Withdrawal's of $500 printed twice on January 24,2017 which is the proof of 2 atm deduction's that could not have happened because of a $500 daily limit. The document's will not download at all after trying and trying many times.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a refund of $435.29 that is figured in with the - $64.71. that was taken out of my account. What happened to transparancy.. The documents will not download after many attemps.
The Client Relations Manager didn't want to deal with the issue..My claim with the BBB was misconstrued. I couldn't get anywhere with her. I then talked to Tom the week of December 03,2023 who I finally received proof of the atm withdrawal phone # [protected] Ext 23523..They denied my refund because it had been 6 years..When I mention it should of been taken care of when I filed the claim. They ignored the claim and closed my account..The only way to see what they can do is to pay the negative balance so they can open up the account..There wouldn't be a negative balance if Academy bank didn't take $500 out of my account twice from an atm withdrawal on January 24,2017 as it states on the statement..which is the proof..Academy Bank stoled $500 out of my account which is an act of fraud and corruption..As I stated prior in my claim..Documents will not download..Academy Bank has everything they need for this complaint. Academy bank broke their own terms and conditions.
