Left my car at a pump filling while I ran inside the store for five minutes. Attendant very rudely told me that I couldn’t do that and I’d be liable for any spill over. I told her I would not do that next time and disagreed about the spill over (saying that it was Kroger’s responsibility to maintain the auto-stop latches on the pump). She pretty much yelled, “well, it’s posted” before turning her back on me.
The outcome of the hypothetical spill over issue is irrelevant though. The bottom line is, the employee was rude when informing me of the store’s policy and very rudely turned her back on me mid-conversation.
I’ve been a customer of kroger ever since I started buying groceries. Considering another store now.
Desired outcome: Dismissal of gas station attendant or her sincere apology.
