Took our car in to Rod Hatfield Chevrolet for an oil change & tire rotation, and these are the lug nuts that were on our car when we picked it up.
Up until the time we dropped it off, it had the factory chrome lug nuts. The service manager is trying to tell me they probably fell off over time, and offered to get me a new set of 20 for around $300.
His explanations had more holes in it than Swiss cheese, and smells worse. It is said that car dealerships are notorious for their poor treatment of women, but this place treats everyone like we’re stupid.
Finally, after I discredited all his excuses, he said he would take my phone number and call me back if he could figure out what they could do for us. I missed his call a few days later, but called him back the next day. He told me they’d really like to help us but since we waited so long to report this, he couldn’t do anything. I told him that we notified them three days after we picked the car up when we noticed our chrome Lugnuts were not on the car. Then he hem-hawed around and still said that they couldn’t do anything for us. I’m tired of their lies, and they won’t touch another one of my vehicles again, and I won’t be buying any more from them either.
Desired outcome: I want our factory lug nuts returned.
