Holiday Inn - Unfair treatment employ

Coronavirus laid me off from the Holiday Inn in Donaldsonville La, under Jacques Boutte (GM) for me I had to stay home as the world and my state was put on lockdown for me and my sick family member's safety first not by my choice also I was called repeatedly at my home during this time receiving threats from Jaques was harassed and verbally threatened by Jacques ‘I'm a person with underling conditions also a was a full-time employee at that time of the pandemic I was told by Jacques if I didn't come in I would be fired he will try to rebuttal these facts or say I am a disgruntled employee I am none of the above along with me and My coworkers Asia, kashira, Sharmar, Javian, and Eldina also a past employee who will stand by these facts you about to hear with their own experience of unfair treatment with Jaques not taking proper precautions and sanitizing the building has Not been sanitized since the corona virus has started has not been and remain open never has been close to be properly sanitized state was on lockdown As the state started to lift some of restrictions I was told to return to work supply my own mask and my own sanitizer at this time citizen could not get these items so I return with my own self made mask just after the virus stuck the world my co worker Kashira begin to get symptoms as we work side by side as hotel front desk clerks literally inches apart close Proximity she begin with upper Respiratory Symptoms so 2 days we worked together on the third day she was admitted into the hospital testing positive for the Coronavirus 3 day later I was told by Jacques that one of our employees was diagnosed Positive with coronavirus I ask whom it was he said it's was confidential after she was released she felt the need to notify all of her coworkers jacques verbally abuse her for notifying other employees stating it was confidential she could have died with no care he literally verbally abuse kashira Jacques thru phone conversation Jacques quote on quote she had no right her only concern was people are dying she was calling me in case Jacques don't notify the staff so that we could get tested along with taking the correct precautions Several employees already figured whom it was she was schedule and not showing up at work with her out I continue to work with the state under very high risk to contract the virus on locked down with a curfew I ask Jacques can he have a split screen put up to protect direct contact with the few guests we had in the hotel inches between you and the guest His response was quote on quote come on Angela It not that serious he threaten to fired me if I didn't come to work without a spit guard it finally got installed several days later I ask him when can I return he responded someone already has taken my shift I return with 2 days a week still under pandemic Crisis 9 months into the virus I ask to be placed 4 days on the schedule as everyone he replied are you ready to comeback I Replied yes for 2 months I ask to no success to be put back on the schedule Q hotels/office posted a position on Q Hotels website I received on

My password automatically open my account and need to sign out with my password the day this was discovered was not scheduled to work I was at home on my couch at this trying to seek other options so I applied on September 9 as I have been at the hotel for the last 2 and half years I saw a chance for advancement so I applied. before the corona virus started 2 employees where hire to help cover the open shift were Shamar then Katelyn both had to be trained as Jacques was new himself to the facility he also had to ask me and several others how things are done in the system some of the full time staffs were out including myself due to virus doing this time I began to look for other employment I saw that Holiday Inn had posted they were looking to hire for a front desk manager I applied and left my info on the computer at the office that I now know that my account was compromised Jacques came to me and Notified me that Katelyn ask can she be front desk manager she only been there 7 months at that time she ask!. I applied on September 9 on Q hotels my application sat 2 month on the website he call me at my house and said he didn't see it and that I was a lier my application is not on the website I told him it was there over 2 month I told Him I will screen shot it to him I walked in on without them notice I was standing there karissa, Jacques, and Kaitlyn discussion without them recognizing I was standing there quote on quote where are you going to put the new employee because Angela is on a schedule as long as I'm on work furlough he Was not put on the schedule but work semi full schedule I have never met the new employee as he has been working there for two months I call Jacques to report a Incident that happen with one of the housekeeper Yessica I call Jacques to alert him what had taken place on the weekend that she threw her board at me I replied if it would have hit me police would have been needed
To be called he called me At my house and told me I was a lier I did not fill out an application for the front desk management position I told him I will photo shoot it for you at this time when it was discovered that my account was compromised he called me a liar and said it never happened with Yessica either what he did not know one of the employees in the housekeeping department heard him and she spoke up and said yes it happens I was there she did do that to her because I was here I was threatened Again to be fired after he investigated it was found to be true he apologize but before he said I told him I would mop the floor with the housekeeper Yessica I told him not true because I Recorded the conversation due to past threat I started recording our phone for my safety between me and him. me and my husband listen to the Recording none of that was said you heard me talking in self-defense stating if the board would have hit me you would have had to call the police and that is self-defense but instead I was called a liar behind my back and in front of my face I am 52 years old I have been in this Hospitality industry since I was 16 years old for the last past 35 years with documented experience my information was compromised applying for the front office manager I started at the holiday inn as a housekeeping supervisor housekeeper/breakfast clerk/front desk clerk 2 1/2 years I feel I was treated unfair and my dignity and my integrity also compromise this is why I am doing this story needs to be told this type of treatment cannot be ignore As this Gm using coronavirus pandemic to unfairly treat his employees I was forced out of my job in the middle of a pandemic I will also alert Anyone it may concern of this situation I will seek necessary steps. signed: Angela Parkman Reed Per: Asia Charles & Yesss Eldina is right.. he used to let us work & take our time from us. Just like when he permitted me to help put the new duvet covers on for inspection & he saw I stayed on the clock he went back in & took that time for me & shouldn't have done that because he permitted me and I was on the clock physically working not just sitting around there other that have come together to file a complaint.
