La Quinta Inns & Suites - Room quality

We were traveling to New Orleans for my father‘s funeral. I reserved three rooms for myself and family members. The employees were very polite and helpful. However, Upon arrival one room had an air conditioner not working and the family was asked to move to another room when they moved to the second room the balllast in the bathroom had to be replaced and then two other lights in the same room we're not working and did not work during the stay. The telephone was out of order and the coffee maker in the same room was very dirty and molded
The tub would not drain properly and the shower would not work properly and when it did it was spraying out of the tub.. The room had no pillowcases and none were provided the first night. Upon requesting housekeeping and sheets and pillows case following day the family was told they would could be given some sheets and they would have to make their own bed after one of their children had wet the bed they were told that no one would come in and give them towels or linen because of Covid. We were not advised upon check-in or on our reservation or is there any indication in the room that there was no housekeeping restrictions due to Covid. Everyone and all three rooms was fully vaccinated.
We were also asked to put the dirty linen outside of our room on the carpet in then hall or carry it to the end of the hall by the elevator and place it in the yellow bin. In the second room multiple lights did not work at least two of the lamps would not turn on. In the room where I stayed The air conditioner was not only loud but it sound like it had a rattling and almost sound like there was water running through it the entire night. the second night the air condition did not cool the room. the bathroom ceiling tiles had rust and dirt on them the tub was over glazed in places where it had been repaired and appears unsafe. The showerhead was not attached to the wall and when you use the shower the entire showerhead and pipe coming out front the wall shook and it was difficult to shower Do the showerhead was not Moveable and sprayed to the side. The lights attached to the wall by the television did not work and only one light between the bed worked. The linen on the bed was mediocre at best debatable if it was even clean and the comforter in the second bed had a blood stain that we did not see u til getting ready to check out If there were such covid restrictions for no housekeeping, it is hard for me to understand why your breakfast area was open. But Your pool was closed Both days when we were in the breakfast area the beverage area that hosted the juic and the water had a sign that says out of order We were in town for a family Funeral and things were already stressful and did not find any of our rooms acceptable and not Vast improvements need to be done to update the quality of the guest stay experience at this location. I would not be comfortable recommending this location nor any one traveling to New Orleans.

La Quinta Inns & Suites - service

The night clerk Jackie Monday & Tuesday night continues to demonstrate poor customer service.

I have never ever in my forty years of living gotten into a argument with a clerk over asking "please give me a 5am wake up call" And when asked is it set, the clerk continued to be condescending, dang right rude & ignorant.

Yes their was words, which it was provoked by the clerk because she antagonize the whole situation.

Instead of answering yes or no the the clerk provoked an angry atmosphere with a customer. Then precedes to say she will call the police, when she provoked the whole situation that escalated that did not have to be.

This Clerk from Monday and Tuesday has demonstrated nothing but poor customer service and exhibit no skills that would indicate she would even need to be behind anybody's front desk.

The manager Creg/Craig did nothing about her rude/cruel behavior to me, and continued never responded to my request to speak with him repeatedly.

I writing because this clerk behavior made my night a nightmare she called security and even called my employer over a situation that should not have ever been.

La Quinta Inns & Suites - check in

Front desk person was rude . I months ago made a reservation for early check in Jan.2 as we check in she told us she just check in the last 2 rooms. I then told her I had requested early check in months ago we are traveling with 2 small kids and I am disabled. she said come back later. My son then ask how much later. she had no answer. I was very mad. Then we just sat in parking lot trying plan what to do now.At that time my 2 year old grandson had to go potty so we went back in she was checking in more people.Then I got very very mad I went to manager. Not happy with customer service. THEN TO TOP IT OFF WITH BAD SERVICE.WE WERE DOUBLE BILLED MY SON PAID FOR THE ROOMS AND THEN IT SHOWS UP ON OUR CREDIT CARD ALSO.
