I placed a bet with my money and lost and Draft kings immediately took it. I placed another bet with a huge some of money and won big. Draft kings automatically suspended my account and refuses to respond to my emails! They have my money, they have blocked my draft kings account and I can't do much right now! They asked for proof of residence which I provided, they later accepted after so many paperwork proof. My money is still with draft kings as we speak! I need my money draft kings! I am a student don't steal my money draft kings!
Desired outcome: Unblock my account so I can release my funds back to my bank account.
DraftKings - Casino
I was a longtime player and user on Draftkings when I noticed some sketchy things happening in casino games. When I was about to win big a few times the game suddenly froze and needed to verify me yet again. Around the 8th time it happened I emailed them and asked what this was about. They immediately froze my account and took the money which I had just deposited. I am 65 years old and 100% disabled. That was all the cxash I had and they punished me for asking a simple question.
Desired outcome: Refund my 288.00
DraftKings - Betting with draftkings sportsbook
I have been placing small bets with draft kings for approximately a year. I have had no issues or no problems until I decided to email them to ask them a question about how to bet on a fighter instead of the round and the way of victory that the fighter wins.
I used to be able to bet on a fighter until they updated their app or home screen to make it more confusing. Since the update, or since they changed their platform, I could not figure out how to place a bet on just a fighter/person. I could only bet on a way of victory and the round they were going to win. Basically, I could make any bet possible except on just the fighter themselves to win the fight. On July 29th, I deposited $250 into my draft kings account. I placed some bets but could not figure out how to bet on a fighter. I also tried contacting support but saw it was a 24 to 48 hour return time before they would get back to me, so I figured that was pointless at the time. They also don't have a phone number to call, which would have resolved my question that night.
I won some, lost some and had a remaining balance of $212.50 at the end of the fights. I was aggravated because 2 of the fighters I chose to win, won the fights but not in the methods that I chose because I did not want to bet on every method of victory, (I would have had to spend over a $1000 just to pick all the different methods even at $20 a bet.) I did not want to bet that much so when I emailed the support on August 1st and told them I don't have all this money just to be throwing out multiple bets, They locked my account.
I also use a VPN like pretty much anyone who wants to keep their information private and probably had it on while logging into draftkings which was never an issue for them until I questioned a betting method. That was their first excuse before even answering my question. I did not know I should not login to draftkings with a VPN until our conversation, but like I said before, it was not an issue for about a year before I had a question.

After reviewing your account, I can see that we need some help geo-locating you. We use WiFi signals to find you within a jurisdiction that allows for our platform. If we cannot do so, you may not have access to certain aspects of your account. This might be why you were having issues.
Please try the following steps to resolve your mobile connection issue.
1. Log out of your DraftKings account and force quit the app, then re-open the app, and sign back in
2. Ensure that you've updated to the latest version of the DraftKings app through the app store.

DraftKings Player AdvocateTHEN I EMAILED THIS BACK:Hello, I'm not sure why you're unable to Geo locate me but I would really like to speak to somebody about this issue so I can be shown over the phone where to bet on just a person, not a method of vicrory. I could not figure it out. I did not have a lot of money to spend so I bet on a few bets for the people I wanted to win but could only do it per round. Both of the fighters won the fight but didn't win in the round that I picked so I still lost. It's very frustrating because all I wanted to do was pick them as a winner and I couldn't figure it out! I would really like some type of partial credit to put my account back up to the $250.00 I had in it before I made my last bets. Please call me at your earliest convenience so we can discuss this and to show me you do respect me as a betting individual.

Paola A."END OF EMAIL CHAINThis was the last email I received on August 1st. It has been 7 days with no response, phone call or nothing. They still are holding my money hostage with no way to withdraw it or even access my account. Keep in mind they are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I emailed at least 6 more times with no response for a week now. Why are they ignoring me? I was actually hoping they would understand my concern and possibly even give me some type of credit to make me a "Happy Customer" so I would want to continue to bet on their platform. Instead they have made me leery of betting ever again on any platform if they can just lock my account and hold my money hostage. How can this be legal? I have done research and found multiple complaints on platforms such as reddit and also the BBB about similar complaints. They should not be able to be in business if they can do this to their customers. I just want my money back that is legally mine, I deposited the money from my bank account, lost some betting and just want MY MONEY back.
Desired outcome: I just want my money back that is in my draftkings account that they locked my access to.
