The Salvation Army USA - harassment and overseeing of authority

The Salvation Army for years also has been crying out. Letters, phone calls and emails of such injustices are placed in the hands of those we call Godly but only because imperfection exists in humans, those letters are pushed aside and disregarded and rarely does the situation get attended to. In my years as a soldier and association with the Salvation Army, I have seen and heard of insubordinate officers who use their position and status to feel free to subject others in wrongful and hurtful situations. General Brian Peddle said in the War Cry, "the Salvation Army is not perfect" yet officers do not seem to understand this and feel that as long as they follow the rules and regulations and minutes of the Salvation Army they can't go wrong. They refuse to apologize and admit they are wrong and when the employees and co workers see this behavior, the belief in the Salvation Army doing the most good has failed to meet that mark. For when rules and regulations are the authority over goodness and kindness and most of all forgiveness, than we have a problem. Most of all, it is even more difficult when one who tries to go through proper channels is only dismissed because this person is disregarded and made to feel like a nobody, when the Salvation Army preaches of love thy neighbor on one hand and on the other hand, stone thy neighbor. It is hard to understand how people of God can side with each other and conspire with each other to disregard a person only because they consider themselves the officers in authority at their post. If you see this from the stand point of officers, it is hard to understand but looking at it from the view of employees and the congregation, it gives you a totally different perspective from what officers in the Salvation Army proclaim and what they actually emulate. Captain Myron Smith of the South End Corps in Boston along with Major Hartshorn and Divisional HR Manager Alissa Yong used their authority wrongfully and maliciously to fire a Leosandra De Los Santos, after serving 10
faithful years of service and doing the most good. Also, Myron Smith fired Timothy Morris, a long time employee of almost 40 years to the Salvation Army. This man was a kind and good hearted man that
everyone will attest to. Mr. Morris and Ms. De Los Santos were fired with the option to resubmit an application for other positions at the South End Corps. Meanwhile, Anthony, another employee of the Salvation Army was moved to another position with no problems or having to submit a job application after being fired. This shows that Myron Smith is contradictory in what he says. He shows favoritism by moving one person from one job to another and yet fires other people and tells them to resubmit an application. His willingness, fairness and honesty is well observed and noticed by the Corps and its members. Mr. Morris was left feeling terrible and he always worked for the good and the better of doing the most good for the Salvation Army. He believed and always gave his best but now his opinion along with others who know him think that it was terrible and wrong for the Salvation Army to throw Mr. Morris out the way they did after almost 40 years of faithful service. He wasn't even considered or looked upon as an employee of almost 40 years by Myron Smith, Major Hartshorn or Major Davis. Non of this was considered upon his firing. Mr. Morris is now unemployed and was not allowed to finish his years so that he may retire with an accomplishment of completion. For entirety of letter, please contact [protected]@gmail.com
