This worst shopping experienced happened in Macy's located at South Shore Plaza. Last Sunday 11/03/2019, I went to Estee Lauder and tried to buy a gift set. The salesperson told me that I needed to buy a product of $45 or more in their store to obtain the gift set. At the time, I said ok, let me see what I need. When I walked around to see the product, the salesperson told me that "there is nothing exactly $45, you should know what you want before you come here". At that moment, I felt full of anger and insults, I have never ever have that kind of experience in my life. I couldn't hold my tear and my emotions at that moment.I said where is your manager, I want to talk to your manager. The manger comes to me and let me wait in the corner. 15 minutes later, she comes and said "what happen?", I told everything that I just experienced. She not even ask that person to come, or take any action about the story. She just say "we are all woman, you don't have to cry, we need to be strong". Excuse me? Why I cry? I come here just tried to buy a stuff that I want, I not here to let you insulting me. The manager not saying anything after I complaint, she say "what do you want? if you want to keep shop, I can help you." I have no mood to shop anymore, I keep silent and walk away. after that thing happened. I closed my Macy's credit card, cut the card to 2 pieces. Never want to go to macy's anymore. I hope there is more training on the salesperson and management, also take an action about this issues. it is discrimination and insulting. I did not received any apologies until I left. Anyway, the salesperson and the manager both are Asian, I forgot to see the name tag. The salesperson is around 55 years old, and the manger is around 35 years old.
