Just a terrible experience with the Coldwell Bankers Realty Office located at 60 Adams St. in Milton, MA. Unprofessional and complete lack of client focus. Once they get you to sign the brokerage agreement, you are left alone. Despite their claims of advertising, the broker who was supposed to sell the house, put a lockbox on the property and rarely showed up to walk perspective buyers through the house. I had an offer that was accepted and signed, but then the broker sent an email saying that they backed out. She never called me to tell me. How unprofessional is that. Then, I dropped the price twice, based on my direction NOT the broker's, and still no offers. After four months of excuses, I told them to take the listing off of the market. I then terminated the agreement, but the owner of the local branch, Joe P******, basically called me a liar, stating that he doubted my version of events that led to me sending a certified letter that the agreement be terminated. I lost thousands of dollars in rent by listening to the poor advice from these people to leave the rental open as it would be more palatable to investors. All I got was low ball offers and she did nothing to mediate or negotiate a price. I terminated the agreement after the broker dropped the keys off at my house. She even texted me saying that she would cancel the agreement. The owner of the franchise then refused to terminate the agreement. We had a phone conversation where he complained that they had showed the property over 20 times, and did not want to lose money on their effort, even though they never sold the property. I will be taking legal action against them for breach and other irregularities. All they want is to protect their listings and do not give a damn about their clients. STAY AWAY. All they want is their commission and do not care about the client's perspective. Typical of shady people and greedy practices. I have all of this is documents, all Coldwell banker has is their version which is false.
