My name is Melissa McCarthy I booked a hotel for July [protected]. My credit card that I used to book the room through booking.com was charged for a cancellation fee of $120.74 on 7/16/2021 at 12:48pm per my banking information. The hotel manager told me how I had two reservations, which I didn't. I added my husband name to the reservation because he was the one going to MD with our son for a lacrosse tournament. We only had one reservation for two rooms. My husband Owen McCarthy had used his card to check in on July 16, 2021 and had paid for the rooms with his card. He had checked in the evening of July 16, 2021 because he was coming from NY. I reached out to booking.com who will be reaching out to the hotel regarding the charge. The hotel manager also gave me an invalid booking confirmation number (#[protected]) for this supposed other reservation we had. Booking.com had checked the confirmation number that she gave me and it was not valid. Our booking.com (#[protected]). I had to cancel my credit card and order a new one. I would like a refund of this unauthorized charge. Thank you and my contact number is [protected]. I would like a call back please.
