At approximately 10:00 a.m. on January 9, 2022, I entered the Exxon at 10350 Campus Way South in Largo MD 20774. Police Case #PP22010900000867 Cpl Thomasellie Badge #3884
I said good morning to the person behind the pexiglass twice because he did not acknowledge me while looking at his cell phone.
I asked for my items and he added a lighter to my purchase. I told him I did not ask for the lighter. The items I purchased came to 16.86. I gave him a $20 bill. I told him I wanted my change and I did not want the lighter. He gave me 2 dollars and took lighter saying he was going to give me a $3 lighter for $2.
I left and when I got to my car looked at a receipt I had for the same purchase on Wednesday 1/5/2022. I went back to the store and questioned the charge. The clerk began yelling at me about why I didn't say something sooner. I asked him why was yelling. He kept yelling at me. I told him to get out of our neighborhood speaking to me that way. He told me to not come back to his store. I said I wouldn't and I won't. I walked to my car got in locked the door and started. The clerk came to my car with his hand in his pocket saying what. I asked him if he was going to shoot me with all the witnesses. He looked around and his hand was twitching in his pocket. I felt threatened. I told him to get away from my car and drove. I came home and filed a report
The clerk is of African descent (Ethiopia), about 5'7' short hair brown skin brown eyes.
Desired outcome: Remove employee for threatening a customer - NO EXCUSE
If people are coming to your neighborhood soliciting your patronage, then they need to be mindful of the customer service provide.
