On March 8th 2021, I arrived at Quest diagnostic 222 Washington heights Westminster Maryland 21157. My specialist at Johns hopkin has tried numerous times to fax my order to this office. Unfortunately, the order would not go through. Tried many attempts to call, even using different prompts to be able to speak to someone. Much to no avail. According to your message, if Quest did not receive an electronically filed or faxed order, don't worry, our office can call your doctor to get the order. They could not find my order, so I asked her if she could call my doctor's office. She sternly told me no. I called my doctor's office again to fax the order. The order will not go through. I am upset that this Westminster office would not help in any way. I live an hour away from John Hopkins hospital. I cannot just drive down there to pick up the order. You're answering service/machine needs to be able to offer more information and service to the patient. Such as:
1. Fax number and email is needed for this facility
2. A way to leave a message for someone in that office to call the patient back that day.
3. When doctor's offices call, they actually pick up and speak with the office.
4. Better training for the employees in customer service.
5. it sounds like they have someone at this facility to answer the phone, but they don't.
