We purchased our 2018 Grand Design TT from Lee's Family Trailer and were very happy with the sales team. They never failed to greet you in the parking lot and were always so friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues the first year we had it and Lee's quickly got us in and made the repairs. At the beginning of this year, we were wanting to add a second a/c for the bedroom and wanted to get the roof inspected before the 2021 camping season. We called in March to make the appointment to drop it off and was told there was a backlog and they couldn't scheduled us until July 2nd. In late June, we heard the Lee's had been sold to Camping World and immediately called to verify our appointment. We tried a few times during the week, leaving messages, but could never get anyone on the phone. Since it was only 45 minutes from the house, we finally drove over to find out what was going on. No one greeted us when we arrived as there was no one outside. Once inside, we found about 20 people in different groups standing around in the offices and hallways drinking coffee, laughing and socializing. Again, no one greeted us. We found the service desk with one person working. She was helping an angry customer in front of us. We waited quite a while. When it was finally our turn, we explained that we were not able to get through on the phone and left messages, she rudely said she was very busy and did not have time to answer or return calls. We then asked to confirm our appointment and was told she didn't have an appointment for us on July 2nd. We were so upset and angry, we just walked out. Camping World is a horrible company to do business with and we do NOT recommend using them. Not one of them showed any concern or tried to help. There are plenty of other places to go, so we won't be back.
Desired outcome: The damage is done. There is nothing Camping World can do to regain our business. You have lost a good customer, along with all our friends and family.
