We had to stay at the Baymont because we had a ice storm. And lost power to our home. So my husband sent me and our 10y autistic son to the hotel. From Feb. 23-26th And this is what we saw in room 305.
1) The fire alarm was coming off the wall, was told oh our guys know about it.
2) there was hair in the tub in the bathroom
3) the tv remote did not work, when I said something to the front desk. They said we will send someone up there. It took almost 2 hours for someone to come up.
4) there was no phone cord for the phone. I said something about that too. And no one ever came up for that. Thankfully I had my cell phone.
5) my autistic son turned blue because the pool was so cold. And the pool room was cold as well that the roof in there was dropping water drops on my head. I said something about that too.
6) there was a pee stain on the bottom corner of the bed. I said something about that too. And all I got was ok.
we checked out on Feb. 26th, on Monday the 27th of Feb. I was checking my account and they had taken an extra $200 out of my account. I called to find out why. And the women I talked to who said she was the manger that the mattress was damaged. I asked how, she said there was a pee strain on it. She couldn't tell me where. I informed her that my son wears pull ups at night and that was false he did not pee on that bed. She got very and said well you were charged for it so there. That $200 was my grocery money for that week since we lost everything we had in our refrigerator. To be able to get food in the house for our autistic son.
Desired outcome: would like a refund of the whole stay

The Baymont inn in Battle Creek is the most disgusting place I've ever attempted to stay they have bugs flying around no working heat stained blankets the jacuzzi tubs are falling apart and the general manager Shawn Brown is a disgrace along with her unprofessional staff at the front desk for anyone to think it's okay for bugs to be flying around a $170 hotel room Or any hotel you should be absolutely embarrassed and the unprofessional behavior when confronting them regarding the situation is Unfathomable not to mention the fraud attempts on their part to avoid giving a refund after only staying in the room for less than an hour just disgusting
Mr Washington maybe you need to find something more productive to do than sit on complaint boards searching for anything to comment on that you obviously know nothing about and just a little information the he you are referring to is a she lol your welcome 🙄
