On 11/2 I was shopping at Miejer. There was a sign on the Oil of Olay products stating if you buy over $30 worth of the products you receive a $10 coupon for you next shopping trip. I purchased over $30 of the products but when I got home I realized the coupon I was given said "purchase $50 to receive your $15 rebate". I called Miejer and spoke to a woman named Courtney. She was very helpful and told me come back with my receipt and I would be issued a $10 coupon. I was pleased. I went back to Meijer on 11/4. There were 2 ladies at the service desk telling me I was wrong and their was no such sale. One of the ladies told me to go take a picture of this supposed sign I saw. So rude. I walked over to where the sign had been and now the sign was gone and a new sign was there that said 11/3. I walked back to the service desk I told her the signs were changed on 11/3. The sign I saw on 11/2 has been taken down. These 2 women rolled their eyes at me, acted like I was wasting their time, said their wad no such sale. Then one of the women found the ad from 11/2 and saw that yes, there was a sale that I had been talking about. She looked ar my receipt and questioned what I bought. I told her i bought exactly what it said to buy. Then she questioned me in the prices. I said it clearly shows I spent over $30. She rolled her eyes at me and had horrible attitude and handed me a $10 gift card saying "there is your $10" I was shocked at how rude this woman was. I have been in the customer service industry for over 10 years. I did nothing wrong and this woman made me feel like I was taking up her time and like I had done something wrong when I didnt. I am very disappointed in these 2 staff members of the customer service team at my local miejer and I will not recommend this store.
