I was a new agent at Bankers and quite a few of the older agents would try to write a policy and not put you on the split like they are suppose to, so I have not been paid on quite a few, and upper management doe'snt seem to really care.
If you go to work here, keep and document all your leads, so no one can screw you...

Complaining on this site will do you no good. Someone needs to file a class action about how this company does business. Bankers Life and Casualty has high powered law firms that try to intimidate agents when they leave, to keep the truth from the public. This is why they try to restrict agents who leave form selling policies to their clients and emphasis "policy replacement rules" to agents before they leave. There are numerous companies who sell finale expense policies whose rate ate 10-20% lower than Bankers. And Bankers Life and Casualty has service that is nothing short of disgraceful (becoming an industry standard)! Their Broker Dealer went bankrupt and their financial advisor, wo they insist agents get business for, are among the worst you will find anywhere! All they look to do is to get into people's home and make multiple commissions. Beware, beware, beware!
Try to figure out how commissions are paid? Their so called managers can't even explain it. Check the fines from the State Agencies. Bankers fines are close to the top when compared to insurance companies 10 times their siaze. Remember that State Insurance Agencies earn their money by fining insurance companies and agents for violating the "complex" insurance laws (every State has their own Insurance Department). The worse the company the more money they make (Bankers sometimes sends people who don't even have a license yet out in the field). Perhaps this is why Bankers Life and Casualty is still around. The Public needs to understand that companies like this are a danger to the public trust and need to be shut down.
I'm sure the the founders of this company would be very displeased at what Bankers Life and Casualty and thier affiliates have become today. File a class action. There is enough information on this page (Thank God) to close them down.
