When I did my initial physical. We went through all my tattoos and piercings. I got about 20 scattered about. The newest one was done 5 years ago. We did an update and went through them again. And for some reason the one I got in 2011 after my son died didn’t get recorded. Now I’m band for life? Was it a nurses mistake or me forgetting about that one located upper thigh. Don’t know and definitely can’t ask anyone. All of a sudden I get these emails harassing me to give plasma. So I signed up. Left work early. Drove an hour to find out that I’m banned for life. Don’t send me emails and make me look like a fool walking in there being treated like I’m the retard. Lady was a [censored]. They all are. I was doing it because you so desperately needed plasma. Come to find out you don’t need it that bad. Not sure what the motive of the company is. I need to be taken iof any mailing lists and j want my personal information out of their system.
BioLife Plasma Services - Medical assistant made donor cry
At the biolife location in Mankato I had a medical assistant ask me a personal question in the lobby in front of others when I told her it was personal she forced me to tell her with others watching. She then very rudely said "we need to have a talk " and finally brought me to a private room and then proceeded to be rude and make me cry. She made me feel terrible about my self and continued to make me cry.
Desired outcome: I believe I deserve an apology since I felt forced to tell her personal medical info with other donors listening. I also believe she needs extra training on how to talk to a donor appropriately.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
