Arrived on March 28 at the Florissant location and first and foremost, one employee asked another are we accepting sit in orders? The employee resolved back very loudly HELL NO.. Oh my.. (clutching my pearls) I politely spoke up and said I’m only sitting here waiting to order. I don’t plan to eat inside. Meanwhile when u call WH, they don’t answer and the voicemails says they’re too busy assisting with eat in customers even tho they’re not taking any dine in customers.. it was 2:30pm on a Tuesday why would they not be taking dine in orders?
The manager I’m assuming was the bigger black guy. He was more concerned about talking about chad than anything else. I paid for cheese and never received it. My waffle was beat up and made with OUT care.. when u call the store back nobody answers. But vm says they’re too busy assisting dine in cxs. This place has also gone down like most of the other places to eat around here. Smh
Waffle House - customer service and hygiene
I called to place a 'to-go' order on 7/14/19 and was put on hold for over 5 min by the manager. I hung up and called back over 5x and got vm. I was dealing with a major headache so I was trying to eliminate the wait time at pick-up. I went into the restaurant to place the order and there were at least 10 people behind the counter and on the floor. One person could have been assigned to address pick up orders. While I and others waited for orders or to be seated the manager never apologized for the wait, asked if we were assisted, or showed any sign of proper customer service.
The staff cleaning the tables used the same cloth to wipe down the seating as they did the tables. Gross! Flies swarm around the food without any efforts to keep ones food protected.
I will not be dining at this location again.
