Yesterday, July 9, 2019 I went to our local Sonic.
I ordered 5 drinks, no food.
My order was placed at 3:48 according to my receipt chk number 463.
At 4:15pm my drinks finally arrived and one was the incorrect size.
They did replace it with the correct size.
So at 4:18, I am finally able to leave stall number 10.
I feel waiting 30 minutes for 5 drinks is unacceptable. The carhop apologized, but didn't offer any other compensation for this long wait.
I was even over charged, I paid on a credit card and the bar hop said I would be refunded on the card but they couldn't give me the difference in cash, nor did they give me a receipt for the credit.
To top it all off my receipt was for $8.28 that I paid with a my credit card but the receipt had a new balance handwritten on it for $6.28 and change due listed as $.72.
I'm thinking by this I was over charged by $2.00 not 72cents.
I also witnessed many cats leaving the drive thru line without ordering, because the line simply wasn't moving.
Many “cars “ (not cats) were leaving due to the drive thru line not moving.
