The manager is always rude to her employees every time we go. The team would do better if she wouldn't jump them constantly. Heather, our server, was really good and apologized for the wait and the mess ups of the cooks. The waitresses and cooks all would be into it constantly because the manager would rush them all instead of worrying about the people keeping the place in business, the customers. The servers always seem to be nice but, with poor management and the constant yelling every time we go, we probably will not be back for a while.
Steak 'n Shake - general manager unethical behavior
Then general manager at the poplar bluff steak and shake discriminates against all employee, she has lied and posted on Facebook problems that were held at the store on the clock. She has accused people of stealing and when someone asked to have them look at the cameras to prove there innocent they never even attempted to view cameras. A server there was given service trainer and when someone got her numbers she changed them and the manager gave her a new card and new what was happening then accused her of stealing. Then for a week the general manager discriminated against this employee to the point she was in tears everyday . Then on Monday September 9 they allowed her to work her full shift then the general manager called at 7 pm from her personal cell phone to tell this employee that they had to let her go over ticket audits but the general manager didn't know details on the situation? This restaurant is a sad place to work . They failed a health inspection there is black mold on all of there blinds in the dining room. The bathrooms stink so bad costumers complain about sitting by them.
