Holiday Inn - Staff in housekeeping

I am new to the hotel I recently started coming from another hotel in housekeeping this has been going on since I started I was trying to not complain and let it be but the situation seems to be getting worse I have been in housekeeping for years so I'm not new to the business but I was told by one of my managers the entire staff was we had to be done with our rooms by 1:30 pm everyday because of the number of employees available we have had anywhere between 9 and 13 rooms a day for the second time in a week I've arrived at work to get the day started there is no linen already available or towels or even to know what cart to use and then I find the manager (Shae) I'm not sure if her last name maybe Gillespie draped over the laundry table talking with another employee about unrelated work things and me left standing there with no board to know what floor I'm on or what sheets I need to get the day started I had to interrupt her conversation on one occasion to ask for my board it was ready but she was too busy talking so then you end up looking for about 30 to 30 minutes which cuts into your 1:30 time I know the time for one room in 30 minutes today I watched the man that strips the linen walk past every one of my rooms and not strip them so I had to strip every room which then cut into my 1:30 pm time most days yes he dies strip them he was literally standing right next to my cart I am no stranger to hard work so I figure okay I can do it myself but this has happened before just not to this magnitude so it's the weekend my rooms today has a lot of trash I understand but that put extra time into cleaning them so some of the other employees are finishing quicker because they are not changing all of the dirty sheets and throwing clean one down to make it look like they did and maybe that's because if the time they fished pressured to finish quicker because most times I do, one day last week I showed up to wit on time everyone was getting started for the day they had hoards and stocking carts I see a few boards left on the laundry table I said surely one of these are mine to find 2 other employees names the manager was not in site I ask the other employees do you guys know where my board is is they say no I said do you know where Shae is they tell me up front I'm looking at the schedule like I know I sure today let me go ask her she's on the phone and I wait til she gets off I ask she do you have my board or what's going on I'm thinking maybe I gut a bad guest complaint about one of my rooms and I'm in trouble do we walk bs k yo the laundry room she looks and says oh my bad I put you down as Kylie and this is before this past situation recently so I let this one go but it seems to be a continuous thing everyday, one of the employees failed to show up for work 2 days ago she calls him while in the laundry room with all of us there getting our carts together on dii ok esker phone where everyone can here and says your not coming to work today. I agree that the employee should have been contacted but none of us should have been able to hear that conversation over speaker phone I worked with him a few times because she put us together in working with him he told me that a employee he was trained by didn't vacuum in their rooms they just picked up the pieces off the carpet this conversation came about because we were done cleaning our first room and we were decided who would vacuum, I got sick one day when I first started I have sciatic never in my bad that sometimes causes me much pain and walking problems I was told when I first started to call she at least 2 hours early if I knew I couldn't make it in I honor that no one wants to be looking for a person that's scheduled to be at work I am single mom with bills I can't afford to miss work but I was in so much pain about 5:30 that morning I waited til 6:45 and called her no answer now normally in this case I would text and say I tried to call you I'm really sick I can't make it in the secondary manager had told me never text Shae just call her I had taken muscle relaxers and I was getting drowsy but I need to read her I called a second time no answer so I then called the other manager and she picked up I said hi told her what was going on she says okay but call shea I said I did I will she didn't any I just took some pain meds I will be asleep soon as I hit off the phone either gee Shae never called back or anything I thought okay well o did tell one of my managers I get to work the next day only to once again no Shae no board on the table but there were others I wait and she cones from the front she digs in a stack of osiers and says hey here's your board and I need to talk to you anyway about the day you missed I said okay so I'm thinking we're about to talk good I can tell her I called you and I don't like missing work or to have a misunderstanding like that so then she says but we'll talk later and proceeded a conversation with another employee that's not work related so I start to prepare my cart but I can't work like this I need to clear the air do I say she can I talk to you now before I get started she says yes we go to a private space I said I called you and I don't like nor can't afford to miss work so I was sick and I have Dr. documents if you need them about this problem she says okay but when I didn't hear from you I didn't know I said I called you multiple times and also called the other manager which was there that morning so I'm think why wasn't this communicated between you two if your both managers she asks what's your number I tell her she says oh I see you did call they we don't need to talk any further but it the lack of timing fit me why wait til later in the day to address the issue on hand now then let half of the day go on but you were standing there talking to another employee about unwork related things I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble but this can't go in every day and I don't want it to happen to anyone else I'm quiet but not a hard person to communicate with and I have no problem with doing my job but I just recently left another hotel that I couldn't even work there because so much other drama was going on that the work environment was just not good so I don't come to a new place to repeat the cycle nothing or no one is perfect and I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble but this has been a pattern. The photos I added from today where we suppose to be done by 1:30 pm and the rooms were still not stripped after 12 on my board the majority of rooms are still occupied by guests which also make it harder to be done by 1:30 pm and check out isn't until 11:00 am the svc you see next to my rooms are the ones I was able to strip and means stripped vacant and clean so I can keep up with the ones that he never did and that I actually changed the sheets
