I took my Titian in told the service manager I was having a problem with the front or steering, told them it was making a popping noise. Instead of looking for that problem they told me I need new axels and all kinds of other work.
I ask were the axels the problem, answer yes, I had that work done over 1400.00 I went to pick up the truck and the person that drove it up said he was surprised it made the front sounded worse than when I took it in. Now I am sure they will come back with another large bill and I have no faith they will fix the truck correctly. I also feel I was scammed out of 1400.00 since it has made no difference it he the truck what so ever. If the person that inspected or looked at the truck which cost 100.00 did not know what they were doing and could not figure out the noise in the front when the drove it out of the bay they should not be a mechanic to begin with. All the dealership was doing was looking for a way to make more money on repairs and did not even repair what the problem is. If anything they made it worse it was not squealing like it did when they drove it up to me. I had never heard anything like that before and it sounded like metal on metal. I do not have that type of money just to keep guessing what is wrong and I am very upset with Nissan, cars and trucks for the last 30 years believed in Nissan. No longer can I say that I will be a loyal customer of Nissan, I do not believe they should have replaced the axles with out knowing it was not the problem and charged me with out fixing the problem then try to give me back a truck the other mechanic said was a danger to drive.
