I just wanted to say that I do not live in Mount Olive but my Mother does. On 2/20, My mom wanted me to take her to Roses. As we approached checkout there seemed to be only one register open. The line was long. I noticed the light on at another register and my mom asked the cashier if she was open. The cashier yelled YES at mom. Which highly disturbed me. Because that is what I think is a valid question. This register had no one in the line. As my mom started putting her items on the register, I noticed the cashier was leaning over and writing. The cashier (Rita, according to the receipt) never greeted my mom. As the cashier was almost done with ringing up my mom's items, my mom added another item. This cashier threw that item in the bag. She never gave her the total. My items was separate so she treated me the same way. I was never greeted and as I had to look at the screen to see what my total was. As I began to pay with my debit card, I noticed the cashier started writing again. She gave me the receipt but she never thanked me for coming. I know everyday can't be a good day but this lady's attitude was unacceptable. She needs Customer Service training. I've worked Retail for at least 10 years so I know how important Customer Service is. I hope other customers were treated better after we left.
