5/4/24 around 1:45-2pm I am a frequent roses shopper mainly hope mills nc store and never have I been so disrespected in my life. I shopped for about 1/1\2 hours & had a full cart of merchandise... Probably around 15o to 200 dollars... When I got to the check out there were only two registers open... On a s a t u r d a y no less! the lines were not moving as it looked like others had full carts too... I asked one of the floor employees whether they could open another register & she looked at me like I had two heads & didn't respond so I asked for the manager and she tried to get her attention as she appeared to be stocking shelves and she ignored her and kept stocking shelves. This is one of the many reasons stores keep going out of business... Customer service has gone into the sewer. So, I left my full cart sitting there and told them they can keep it & I walked out. I am 81 years old and I tried to explain that my legs were giving out but they couldn't care less. I even asked to speak to an employee with whom I haved dealt for many years & she has always been wonderful but she wasn't there. Needless to say I won't be going back there. I went to dollar general after I had rested for a bit and they were glad to accomodate my needs. Those two sorry employees should be fired! I have never complained before but i've never been treated like that before and I decided to do it this time. This store has a lot of elderly/disabled customers who probably get mistreated but don't complain. So... Either corporate cares or doesn't... I guess we'll see.
Desired outcome: WOULD LIKE THOSE TWO EMPLOYEES FIRED...THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE ELDERLY PUBLIC.
