Yes I was in the store today and I was dissatisfied w/ the lack of customer service. I went to check out and well my cashier was on her cell phone w/ a text. She looked at me like lady your going to have to wait so I did w/ out a complaint. Ended up I needed to have 2 things voided. A man came to do that, I could not tell you his job title or either one of there names no name tags. The customer service or the lack of was not good.

Definately THE WORST DEPARTMENT STORE, in The C.S.R.A., The manager is a racist, evil woman, and she keeps hiring & employed -degenerate, ghetto-fied employees, who are lousy at customer service and keeping the store organized or clean! They were nearly shutdown numerous times for being a bad retail business; selling cheap-crappy knockoff/poor quality clothes, at unreasonable prices.. Plus they treat loyal black customers like crap, even pulling some of the racist business policies as WAL-MART, framing, setting up & harassing black men who shop or try to get a job working there. Lousy businesses like these, love Aiken County, because this corrupt city; enforces discrimination laws; like "segregation", often unfairly putting black men on trespass noticies, for doing business with racist companies.. That's what Roses Stores in Aiken, SC, stands behind & support: Racism, and lousy retail management!

Just one more trashy business that Lancaster really doesn't need. Instead of building Lancaster up, the council members that allowed this business to operate in Lancaster just keep tearing this town down.

Store manager refused to exchange shirts because i did not have sales receipt. Store tags was still on merchandise. I went to the Roses in Marlow Heights MD today July 6, 2017, to return two items, I just purchased at the Maxway store and was given none other than poor customer service by the Manager "Don" who informed me that his first name was "Don", and that was all I needed to know. I have never experienced such disrespect from a Manager in my life. This manager should be fired.. The sales associate told me before he came to the register, that he was going to be rude. Why would an associate of the store already know that? So this is his daily routine to customers! This is unacceptable behavior as a Manager. I need someone to contact me because I plan on sending this complaint to the Better Business Bureau. How dare a Manager be so rude, and "Don" asked me if I knew how to read? I told "Don" how dare you, I know how to read! This so called Manager should not be working with people. Note: The Maxway store Manager told me to go to the Roses to get a refund or exchange, "Don" told me - you cant read, it says, no exchanges, I told him, why did the Manager of Maxway tell me to come here, Don told me, he is going to be fired! Are the two stores merging or what? I don't think I plan on going back to Roses and spreading the word about the poor customer service of the Manager.
Its because there are so many dishonest people that trade with Roses that the policy is in place. Many times, prior to the policy being set, people would come in to pay off your layaway for a few bucks, and then return it all to get the cash back. That is why there is a policy in place. Its not because of good customer service lacking, or the customer always being right-the policy is there to protect you.
I am so disappointed! I sent my fiancée to the College Park Roses, in Virginia with my receipt because I can't get out there and he was going to pay off my LAYAWAY and they would not allow him! So, I called up there and they claimed it to be policy, and I should have added him to my layaway...Well when we were both there starting the layaway why didn't they say so then...ugh! Now..they won't add him! What happen to good customer service, and the customer being right?
