Since the age of 13 Ive dealt with dark course facial hair. Which has been a constant embarrassment to me especially when others noticed it and teased me. At the age of 40 I decided to check into Laser Treatment. This was after many years of tweazing and waxing which did not effect the hair growth. Over the years the hair got more course and stubborn. After doing research I discovered that Ideal offered financing and sales. During the consultation it was stated that I would be a good candidate due to my hair being dark. After a couple treatments I still was not noticing a difference in the amount of hair. I had discussed this with different staff members who kept stating that I needed more treatments before I would notice any change. So I kept going for my treatments and noticed change in all areas except above my lip. Six weeks after my last treatment I had new hair growth above my lip. When I spoke to staff they suggested that I pay the lifetime membership fee to get treated. I am upset and dissapointed due to the fact that the procedure cost over $3000. Which I paid off in the 18 months so as not to occur the interest. Not to mention paying $40 for their numbing cream which did not help with the pain. It was also suggested to me to get my hormones tested due to my facial hair being course. I paid out of pocket for the hormone testing which came back normal. So long story short I do not know which is more embarrassing being teased for having a large amount of facial hair or spending over $3000 for painful treatments that do not work.
