Yesterday we visited the store in 2703 route 541 suite 5 in Burlington Nj, we walked in was greeted by Kathi a cashier, we when about our business to look around my two teens left my side to go look around while I stayed with my 5 year old looking at the little kids section, I caught to my teens then this furious lady comes directly to my son and starts to tell him he broke a doll and her and her supervisor saw him and that he needs to pay for the broken doll or leave the store as she continues to tell my 14 year son all this stuff I tried telling her I was the mom she didn't listen to me until I loudly interrupted her and said you need to be talking to me, she then proceeds to tell me that her supervisor told her to come talk to my kid, I told her to take me to the supervisor, once we got the supervisor by the name of Andrew, the supervisor said he did not see my son do anything, that all he was trying to do is to protect his bonuses that the more people destroy the less he gets paid, I told him that if in fact he can show me proof my son made the doll stop working I would gladly pay for it, he said it was just kathi accusing my child, not him. I explain that we are A military family we don't go around breaking stuff. Kathi targeted my son because he was a teen and he was Hispanic it felt like, she was a horrible person to come and humiliate my son in front of other guests in the store, accusing him of something he did not do, my husband is a US Marine, our kids go around the world trying to over come the obstacles of adjusting to new places, and when they encounter people like Kathi and Andrew is very hard on their minds! Kathi and Andrew should not hold costumer service positions at your company, since they don't know how to treat people and the target teens and innocent kids when parents are not around!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
