On September 2017 we purchased a new Ashley sofa and love seat from National Furniture Liquidators in Alamogordo, NM for my son and girlfriend. In June of this year my husband and I went to visit them. When we sat on the sofa the board on the bottom back, broke. Another concern are some of the cushions. We realize they will wear in time but some of them have worn more than usual. The reason we purchased this set was because of the Ashley brand name. We've purchased many living room sets with the Ashley brand name and have had great luck with them. Both with the quality and durability of the furniture. We also purchased a set for our youngest son from National Furniture Liquidators approximately 5 years ago and the bottom board on their love seat has also broken. The fact that it is the same problem makes us wonder if somehow these pieces were defective from the beginning.
My husband and I also purchased an Ashley electric leather sofa approximately 3 months ago because we've been very pleased with the Ashley brand name.
On June 27, 2019 we sent the email below to Frank at National Furniture Liquidators:
Attn: Frank
Attached are the Serial Number, and pictures of the broken sections/parts of the sofa per our conversation. My husband and I just sat on it and it broke. My husband has had issues with his back so we are fortunate nothing else happened. We paid cash for the set and do not believe the sofa should of broken within such a short time.
We would appreciate any help you can give us in either replacing the sofa or repairing it.

National Furniture picked up the furniture. We have called many times to check on the status but we are told that there is no decision on if Ashley is going to take care of the sofa or not. The company has had the furniture since the end of June. We just want the sofa repaired or a replaced. We realize the sofa is over a year old but we do not believe that an Ashley product should break after a year of use. We do not fill that this is asking too much considering all of the purchases we have made regarding Ashley furniture.
We would appreciate all of your consideration regarding these pieces of furniture. We feel confident that Ashley will stand behind their product. This is why we continue to purchase Ashley name brand furniture.
