*Complaint on Store Manager Maria and employee Hector
When purchasing weekly items for my aunt for years at this store, I have recently experience a new employee by the name of Hector who demonstrates a rude behavior towards customers. When asking him not to scan my commercial license "Holding National Security" each time he lifts his scanner to scan my ID unfortunately Hector demonstrates a response of verbal aggression "it is mandatory", "where I worked at the gas station it was required" and continues verbally to voice his personal option each time were others never have and are very understanding to the protection of identity laws.
Knowing my clearance and personal protected rights he always seems to continue to make comments each time I go in to purchase and nicely ask him not to scan my ID as I refuse to respond to his rude comments in front of other customers and employees.
Again today February 18, 2021 when purchasing my aunts items of a pack of cigarette and beer, Hector seemed to be more aggressive verbally towards me about his personal opinion regarding what he knows about scanning IDs and going as far as to causing another customer at the register next to us to become upset. This customer heard him and became aggressive verbally really not knowing what was truly going on. When fed-up with his aggressive behavior countless times I asking for his store manager. Then I discovered the store manager Maria was the clerk next to him who seemed entertained giggling under her mask during the incident that accord. Rather then taking on management skills to defuse the conflict she continue to entertain the issue as I proceeded out the store with my items. Why management would allow such behavior is beyond me as I have never experienced this at this Walgreens all the years I have purchased at nor anywhere else.
As a long time customer purchasing "all items" including prescriptions from this store our family we now go elsewhere and Walgreens Corporate offices needs to know the rude behavior this store has developed with management allowing staff to demonstrate such behavior towards customers going as far as upsetting other customers.
