I have had problem after problem after problem with trying to fill my prescription for Testosterone at this pharmacy. I am prescribed this medication for 90 days which is the equivalent of 6 bottles. I rarely even can get 6 bottles, because either Walgreens does not have it in stock, or they say it is on back order. So, most of the time, either I go weeks without my medication, or they say they can only fill one month, which is 2 bottles at time. I understand this is a controlled substance, so it is hard for Walgreens to get what they need for all of us that use this medication. What makes me upset with Walgreens, is that I am always being told different stories as to why my medication is not ready to be picked up. Sometimes, I am told that they don't show that I ever called the refill in and I am asked who I talked to (which has happened several times over the past year). Other times, I am told that my insurance cannot fill a partial prescription, so I have to wait due to it being backordered. Other times they say it will be ready on a certain date, and when i go to pick it up they say that they don't have anything showing for me to be picked up. So now, I have been trying to call several days before I run out of my Testostorone, since I have been having problems for the last 1 1/2 years. So I called for a refill this past Sunday 3/15 (which had been a partial refill the month previously), and I was told that it was too early to fill it. I told the pharmacist that on my receipt it shows that it was filled 2/15. He said that it is 30 days from the day I pick it up, not when it was filled, and that my medication could not be refilled until 3/20 (today). So I asked if they could make sure it would be ready by today (3/20) since I am always having problems getting it filled before I run out. I was told that he would work on having ready by today (3/20). I asked that I get a text message or phone call (like I do for my other meds when the're ready to be picked up) and he said yes. So at 3:20 PM today, I called to see if my Testostorone was ready and the technician I spoke with said that they were showing nothing in there system and again, who did i talk to. I said I didn't get his name, but I told her that he said it would be ready for pick up on 3/20 unless I heard otherwise. She then told me that they can't keep that medication for pick up for weeks, and I said it hasn't been weeks, it was just a few days ago. This same technician has given me attitude, and my wife attitude with my daughter's birth control. I work for Fresno Unified School District, and I work closely with FTA, and I will let them know my dissatisfaction with Walgreens (at least my experience with the Clovis Herndon/Fowler Walgreens). I can only hope that other Walgreens locations have better service than this one.
Desired outcome: Having my full prescription filled every three months, without being given the run around, being lied to, or being treated rudely by a particular female pharmacy technician.
