I am writing to file a complaint against Rhonda (the adjuster) from USAA Auto Insurance Company regarding Accident Claim #[protected]-800.
On August 26, 2023, a car accident occurred in a garage when another vehicle collided with mine on the driver's side. Both cars were making a right turn, but the other vehicle had a yield sign. I had a right-turn sign. Since then, I have been in constant contact with Rhonda and have found her to be unfair and unprofessional. This is due to the following reasons:
During the first one to two weeks (from 8/26/2023 to 9/12/2023), I contacted Rhonda several times about the accident. She was delayed in her responses. On one occasion, she informed me that if the other party did not respond within one month, I would be held responsible for the entire repair.
Later, the other party did respond to USAA Insurance before 9/13/2023. Based on the response from the other party, on 9/13/2023, Rhonda informed me over the phone that the USAA Company would cover 100% of the damages, including the cost of car rental. She also emailed me the four car repair shops' information so that I can start to estimate and proceed with the repairs. However, the following day (9/14/2023), she informed me that USAA would only provide 50/50 coverage (I still keep her voicemail).
Over time, I provided all the evidence and demanded them to be fair. But she still retained her decision. I strongly disagreed with her decision and contacted her manager. Unfortunately, they did not rectify their erroneous decision. We are victims who only seek fair treatment based on facts.
I firmly believe that they have acted unfairly and unprofessionally. I am extremely dissatisfied with their decision. I am requesting legal help here.
Claimed loss: car total loss
Desired outcome: 100% repair for the car damage and the other party 100 % liability
