I am a carter's Credit Card holder, so I am constantly shopping at carters for both my kids 2&5. I have never had such an embarrassing moment like I had today. I always shop at other locations like one at Pelham bay and some at upper Manhattan stores. But the continuous un- professionalism that happens here is ridiculous. I am as shopping and I happen to have a drink that day that I tucked in the top of my kids stroller. Accidentally my daughter raised the canopy knocking it over. Instead of walking away I went ove to a cashier who prompted me to to ask the security to clean up the mess. The security replied with "this is why we don't allow food in here ". There is and never had been a sign that doesn't allow food and it wasn't food that was dropped. Nor have I ever dropped anything. There's always a first for everything. The security kept on loudly accusing my daughter of eating n potentially dropping what she was munching on. I told him it's my drink not too hat she is eating. And he continued saying this is why you need to be careful and not bring food in here. And kept shaking his head and alarming the whole employees and customers. At this point every one was looking and staring and I had lost all interest in what I was buying. This will be the last time I EVER COME HERE AGAIN.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
